It'd be easier to tell if she hadn't drawn her eyes and eyebrows on. It's crazy how even in this social climate, social media has driven the standard of beauty that far towards heavy makeup. Why are sculpted eyebrows not a joke?

I would wonder if this is either staged, or there's a spatial reasoning deficiency at play and this isn't someone who performs this action often. But if it's truly a case of sheer stupidity, I find it more alarming that amusing. (Which I don't mean as a slight; I'm just as liable to hastily mock a stranger's intelligence when I'm in the mood.)

Some of the stuff I see in public Facebook threads, for example, is just mind boggling. And it does concern me that these people vote. And exist. I'm sure in 95% of situations these may be warm and wonderful beings, but some of the things they think and protest defy all sense.

Someone noticed a discrepancy in local covid reporting yesterday. The municipal and provincial totals didn't add up on the ticker of a 24-hour news channel:

OP: If there were 9 deaths in Toronto how are there only 6 in Ontario? Still trust the news? Still trust accuracy of news reporting? Still trust Covid numbers? I believe Covid is real & everyone still has to do their part. But the blatant disregard for accuracy in news every day amazes me 😳😡. Covid, Real Estate, Politics, or otherwise everyone turns to news for guidance & make their decisions based on it, yet there’s no accountability for accuracy or truth. Fear & negativity sells!!!!!!

Commenter 1: It is extreme, Google and certain what I would describe as satanical political groups are blackmailing sponsors to not support those who do not say the so called "truth " Like in Nazi Germany

Commenter 2: I agree with you. We are not getting the whole truth on what is happening. Those that attempt to highlight are labelled as conspiracy theorists and the major social media platforms are labelling it as "fact check: false", and are removing content. I have seen this happen for over a year now and it is even worse since December of last year.

Commenter 3: Fear mongering!!!

These are real people. How are these real people? Commenter 1 prompts an "English, motherf*cker, do you speak it?!" response from me. It may or may not be worth noting that this user's pinned pictures are all photos of them with prominent politicians in their party of preference at various levels of government.

You should examine why you you focus on the it being a woman. The fact that the person is a woman has nothing to do with it.

We all have our moments of astonishing stupidity.

I was in Walmart one time and completely forgot my PIN to my debit card. The PIN that I key in multiple times a week. I just completely blanked, and here I am with a bunch of groceries sitting on the belt and a cashier and a whole line of people waiting on me as I put in the wrong PIN multiple times. I finally had to just give up and put the groceries back. It was horribly embarrassing. I have no explanation for it either. The next day I went to go get gas and put the PIN right in without even thinking.

Not me! :liar:  ... Really, moments is such an understated way to put it. The worst thing for me is I have a history of not learning from my stupidity. And so I have to remind myself of things constantly. Did you close the garage door? Did you really get all of the cold/frozens out of the trunk? Did you allow enough time to get to ...? Don't drop the hard drive on the concrete. There is no confirm button. If you click sloppy here, you have to repeat an hour's worth of effort. <F1> means <enter> here. <enter> means <tab> into oblivion and on and on and on. And I still screw up far too much.

I think it's completely normal to blank out like that. Things like PINs, after you've used them for years, aren't stored in RAM any longer. They're buried in archived partitions that need to be defragmented sometimes.

I think the question is, what does her body have to do with it? Do you think her physiology plays a role in what happened? If it was a buff dude instead, would you still comment "all body, no brain"? Maybe, but I'm guessing probably not. I'm not saying "you shouldn't see gender", or that it's wrong to respectfully appreciate an attractive person's body. The community knows you Daehawk, I don't think anyone would think you meant this in a rude or mean-spirited way. But it's worth considering comments like these could make people feel unwelcome.

No, this was the same problem here where the woman kept driving to different pumps, unable to figure out how to get the gas tank to be on the same side as the pump.

When i worked at a shoe store in college I remember seeing a customer trying to put a pair of shoes back into the box the way they normally come (soles on the outside and the shoe orientation flipped). She struggled with this for a good 15 seconds and then gave up. This could all be just someone having a momentary lapse of how to figure out simple things, or it could be a problem that some people have with this type of spatial problem. It's something we take for granted, but perhaps some intelligent people struggle with this ability.

Pump on the wrong side is a common trope, seen plenty of videos with that, and heard several comedians anecdotes about that. I think its one of the more common brain farts. Not sure if its as common as "why did I come into this room" or "where is my phone ? (in your hand)" Or "what time is it?" checks watch, looks away. "I still don't know what time it is"

Every car I've rented has a < or > symbol next to gas pump symbol so you can visualize as you pull in. This does make one consider how natural selection is no longer in effect on modern humans. You make that kind of mistake on the Serengeti...

I only learned/noticed that symbol about 3 years ago in a rental car. I thought it was genius and wondered how long it had been a thing. I don't know the answer, but am sure it is significantly longer than 3 years. :)

The unsung hero/inventor of the fuel filler dashboard arrow is a designer named Jim Moylan, who worked for Ford. The idea came to Moylan in April of 1986, who had to fill up a Ford company car in the rain, and was frustrated when he got soaked because he picked the wrong side. He wrote up a memo with the idea, sent it off to his bosses, and that’s pretty much how it happened.

The bosses saw the value in the (pleasingly cheap-to-implement) idea, and in 1989, the Ford Escort and Mercury Tracer became the first cars to have the little fuel filler-location arrow
