He's got my vote. Many's the morning I've woken up feeling the way he looks in that picture. If he gets elected we can put him on the $100 bill - and then pre-treat it with coke residue.
I spent 90% of the money I made on women, booze, and drugs. The other 10% I just pissed away.

Fox News
Millionaire anti-virus software tycoon John McAfee unleashed a barrage of criticism of the IRS in a series of tweets Thursday and bragged that he has not filed a tax return in eight years.

"I have not filed a tax return for 8 years," McAfee wrote before calling taxes illegal and complaining about government services. He noted that he lives off the money made from McAfee Inc. - the company he founded and resigned from in 1994 - and called himself a "prime target" for the IRS before writing "Here I am."

In another tweet, McAfee likened the tax agency to the Nazi SS and said its beginnings are rooted as an intimidation arm of the government during Prohibition. He cited the Civil War period as an example to abolish the income tax: "prior to the civil war there was no income tax, yet we managed. Stay tuned for the truth."

+1.

How is this news worthy? Thanks, Fox News, for drawing attention to a batshit crazy person because you like what he's saying at this particular moment in time. Next we'll find out he doesn't think highly of the new chili cheese dog at his local eatery.

He's nuts. Is anyone left who doesn't know this?

It's too bad the IRS no longer has the funding or staff to go after big-time scofflaws. They've been cut so far that they can only afford small, easy audits anymore.

John McAfee Takes to the Seas, Fleeing a Feared Indictment; Intends to Pursue his Libertarian Presidential Race Via Masked Surrogates
In a phone interview yesterday, from what he told me were international waters after having visiting a U.S. consulate in the Bahamas, McAfee announced his campaign will be run in exile. He's currently living on a boat, and expects he might be for the foreseeable future.

He's certain a federal grand jury out of Tennessee has convened that will likely indict him for charges related to income taxes and cybercurrency. "I've known it's coming for well over a year," he says. "There are no secrets in the world; how ridiculous to think a grand jury is secret? If more than one person knows something, it's not a secret. I've been preparing to get out of town well ahead of the IRS collecting me."

Ayup
Antivirus software tycoon John McAfee died by an apparent suicide in a Spanish jail cell Wednesday evening — hours after reports surfaced that he would be extradited to face federal charges in the US, according to local media.

The eccentric tech entrepreneur was arrested in October and was awaiting extradition when he was found dead, police sources told the newspaper El Pais.

The newspaper reported McAfee was pulled from his cell in Barcelona and police are investigating the circumstances around his death.
The crazy can come for any of us. I sincerely hope I manage to hold on to my marbles until I'm gone.

Well, what's left of them anyway. :)

Unlike say, Epstein, I have not heard any stories that suggest bringing McAfee to US justice for tax evasion is going to bring down powerful figures in the government, so I think the odds he was "whacked" are low.

The powers that be in our government are not above whacking people...but I struggle to imagine why any of them would care enough about McAfee to bother.

Most likely scenarios:

1) suicide
2) overdose
3) prison drug-deal gone bad
.

.
57) whacked by gov't
