I'm not allowed to carry on campus and I folllow the rules. We do not have armed security (tasers only). I assume that every visitor entering the Capitol Building goes through a metal detector. Do members of Congress and their staff also do so?

That's the point. She talks a big game but she will definitely not carry into the capitol. And she will have the security of an enforced gun-free zone with armed guards.
