Are there no Republicans that understand the basics of wearing a mask? Or are they just deliberately doing it to trigger the libs and possible infect/kill a few of them along the way?
For whatever reason, "masks are useless and/or infringing on my rights" has become a part of their core identity and a hill to literally die on.

Yup. He appears to have been convinced that Rudy didn't save him and defaulted to running his usual grifter playbook.

I’ll believe it when I see it. There’s always talk about one of these idiots having a falling out with A-dolt Shitler but they often turn out to be false. Sidney Powell was supposed to be on the outs with him last month, but we all saw how true that was.

I think the fall outs are common. They just grovel there way back into his treacherous graces. It's incredibly pathetic.

Just like everything that Agolf touches, impeachment will be devalued and politicized. Expect to see a series of "tan suit" impeachments on a weekly basis.

Rocket scientist.
An FBI agent wrote in a criminal complaint that he was able to identify Keller, who is 6-foot-6, in part because of his height. The agent also noted the Team USA jacket that Keller, a three-time Olympian, wore during the riot.

"PERSON 1 can be seen standing in the Rotunda still wearing the dark colored USA jacket, which also appears to bear a Nike logo on the front right side and a red and white Olympic patch on the front left side," the agent wrote in the complaint.

And now WalMart (of all companies) cuts off the Sedition Caucus.

UPDATE: A few days ago @Walmart said it would conduct a "review over the coming months" about its political donations

Now it says it will suspend all PAC donations to the 147 Republicans who objected

The political environment is changing rapidly.

Countdown to Biden inauguration as President:

6 days

Agolf sets the record for most impeachments by a President - so much winning! Meanwhile he stiffs Giuliani on his legal bills. Then he tells people to "talk to Dershowitz," who has declined to represent Agolf.

Republicans: We need healing! We need to stop the divisive rhetoric! We need to come together as a nation and move forward!

Also Republicans:

Peter Navarro: “The Democratic Party did violence to this country by attacking a president who I believe was legally elected on November 3,” “74 million Americans out there” are “pissed off” like him.

Maria Bartiromo: “We know that there were irregularities in this election.”

I don't care how angry those 74 million Americans are. 80 million Americans voted for the other guy and won.

What we have are a large number of people who are tired of living in a republic with people who don't think the same way they do. They'd rather live in a dictatorship disguised as a republic, like Russia.

So who are your choices for trial by combat on January 20th? I would like to propose:

Forces of Order
Tom Hanks - Primary
Arnold Schwarzenegger - Second

Forces of Chaos
Buffalo Headdress Man - Primary (provided he can get organic snacks)
Via Getty - Second

The more we learn about the siege of the Capitol, the more you realize how close we came to an even more catastrophic outcome. “This could have been a slaughter; the decapitation of the legislative branch of government,” a former senior homeland security official told me.

If these goons had been only slightly better armed, and slightly better organized... we wouldn't be talking about it here. We would be gathering our friends and families together trying to figure out how we were going to survive the anarchy.

Fun fact: If you run a web query against a Parler user's name/handle, such as "Adam Baldwin Parler" or "Adam Baldwin Parler posts" you can see the search engine's archived copies of their Parler profile and posts directories. It seems that for a lot of stuff, Parler didn't even need to be hacked -- it was all just there for anyone to look at. It certainly wouldn't be my first choice as a platform to use in order to conspire to overthrow the government.

Note: This query worked straight out of the box with Bing. Google didn't show the same results, but I don't know if that is because my Google-fu is weak or if Google just doesn't make that sort of archived content readily available.

We learned a lot about the government last week, and none of it good.

For one thing, apparently a mob drunk on MAGA can take and hold the U.S. Capitol(!!) for literally hours with no sweeping resistance offered. Contrary to decades of action movies, there is no commando force headed by a leading man ready to sweep/heli-rappel/infiltrate into the building to protect the government when it's in danger. Instead, it's just a few outnumbered professionals and a crew of moderately disloyal rent-a-cops.

Yeah, but lots of action movies start with a malicious cabal witholding necessary support in order to effect a defeat that furthers their interest.

I hate to defend Tuberville, but that appears to be an inaccurate quote.

Spoiler:
One last time: this is an inaccurate quotation of what Tuberville said. He said, “We probably could have had a swearing in and *done an* inauguration a little later on after we’d got this virus behind us a little bit.” "Done an" is omitted and it changes the meaning.
That Twitter user does not appear to be a Tuberville apologist, either.

Countdown to Biden inauguration as President:

5 days

The bunting is on the wall - for the Biden/Harris inauguration, and is clearly visible from the White House. Meanwhile, Agolf starts blatantly looting on his way out the door, then goes into a roid rage when staffers begin referring to him as "Tricky Don."

Thankfully, morons like the MyPillow guy are the ones attempting the takeover. Next time we won't be so lucky.

It's almost like in this very specific situation, impeaching and then slow-rolling the Senate trial is a horrifically bad idea. The Capitol is surrounded by barbed-wire fences and there are 20K troops encamped. But yeah, we can't rush to have a trial for Trump right now - too much crazy stuff going on.

I'm losing hope. Rapidly.
