With a catcher's home run over the green monster? That had to stir some echoes!Jaymann wrote:Congrats to the Red Sox for gutting it out in 13.
Im guessing, though I hope I'm wrong, that it was the Trevor Bauer exchange we had in this thread. I stayed out of the thread until now.
If we knew who would be pitching for the Giants?Jaymann wrote:Dodgers are in a heap of trouble.
Feast or famine with their hitting. Nine in one game and blanked for two. They wasted a quality Scherzer start. They'll probably score 15 tomorrow and then lose the last game 2-1.
Oh it's definetly going to go to game 5. And it seriously can go either way. Giants have to start hitting. Defense saved them tonight (and the wind)
Same here. I was predicting Rays win 3-1, and I thought I was being semi-generous to the Red Sox in that prediction (figured *maybe* they would win Eovaldi's start).
The wind definitely went both ways. Both teams had warning track shots get knocked down. Even Longoria's shot was getting shot down if you watch the side angle, but he raked it HARD.
Probably not Dodgers fans either, if they are honest. The way this entire season played out with the Dodgers chasing the Giants the entire way, with both teams winning the most games in franchise history (Dodgers tied franchise record), it felt like it would come down to one final game. First to 110 wins goes to the NLCS!
They tried. It didn't work out for them.
