The DioFIELD Chronicle (Demo)

Available on Steam. Nice, in an era where demos are rare. Actual release is 9/22 so you can try before you buy. I have only played the first mission but it seems pretty decent. Yo, Daehawk, it's FREE and real time combat with pause.

Im not a Square Enix fan...but looks interesting and a bit different.

Since nobody has yet said what it is, I did a very cursory search.

It looks to be a strategy game that reminds me a bit of Fire Emblem, XCOM, and Final Fantasy Tactics, except instead of either real time or turn based, it is timer based, sort of like the more recent Final Fantasy titles, with each character going after a delay (which is not my favorite way to play a game - I always feel pressure to not waste time on a characters turn, and I enjoy taking my time and pondering in tactical strategy games. I found that it took a lot of the joy out of Final Fantasy when they introduced it.)

So far I'm a little disappointed that I can't grind exp. I watched a video that said you could go back and repeat missions. I can see dozens of missions on the map, but it will only let me chose the next one on the rail. I'm hoping the others open up soon.
