Set several years after Payday 2, this follow-up will see the gang brought out of retirement in a changed world - one with "cryptocurrencies, mass surveillance and the Dark Web all playing a role".

PAYDAY 3
Looks like Payday 3 launches in September
It's almost as if people are the problem.

Re: PAYDAY 3
Never played any of them. Are they like some other game? Looks a bit like Saint Row mixed with GTA.

Re: PAYDAY 3
Think Left 4 Dead-like, with waves of enemies combined with special enemies. But instead of moving around facing waves while you try to get to the objective, you are stationary and letting the waves come to you (mostly - there are a few missions that involve you moving a lot.) The waves are cops that you'll mow down by the hundred, and you face them while performing a heist (for instance taking hostages, drilling out the lock on a vault, collecting art from a gallery, etc.) There is also a stealth option for many missions, but it isn't really the game's strength. It's designed for coop play, but does have AI companions for going solo (or to fill out a small party.)
It's a lot of fun.
/edit - a clip of me, Brian, and Jen playing:
And a clip of my son and I experimenting with him on a monitor and me in VR. I didn't do this much - only a couple of times - as I found the controls kind of fiddly.
