I had a copy, it got stolen. I just got the mess cleaned up. I don't need a troop of rowdies trashing the place again.

To be fair, I don't think we ate actually trying to get anyone killed off so if you are a safe vote, I dont see the issue.

I don't expect you to be forthcoming or to not be, but I wouldn't say you've been a great example of forthcoming just now.
You haven't told us everything, and you sat on the information until you had a small amount of momentum, and have used this information (and the hint at being forthcoming in the future), in a request for us not lynching you. Odd, kinda. no?

And to be fair, I didn't tell anyone to play or post or vote - I just wanted to discuss the idea that participation may be required for the game to progress. You blew off my question and just started playing. Don't get mad at me.

If it's the same result as holman then you ate safe with the search.
If you have the book AND are insane you could have said something and we probably wouldn't search you today. As i said, there is no benefit to anyone except maybe the alienest or the muse to lynching anyone during the day.

Re: The King in Yellow (Day 3)
I’m not mad.
My post was immediately after your suggestion that perhaps a game that is not being played wouldn’t advance. So, with what little information I had, I decided to share the little information I had in the interest of speeding things along. If that ends up putting a target on my back, I would be disinclined to help in the future.

Re: The King in Yellow (Night 3)
An Excerpt from the Play
As the Police expand their search in one of the apartements on Rue Isgrimnur, they come upon a loose page stuck in a doorway marked “Act I, Scene 2”. The Capitaine reads it aloud:
Camilla You, Sir, should unmask.
Stranger Indeed?
Cassilda Indeed it’s time. We have all laid aside disguise but you.
Stranger I wear no mask.
Camilla (Terrified, aside to Cassilda) No mask? No mask!
The page is torn and seems to have been caught accidentally, ripped out of a larger manuscript. Was a copy of the play here?
Isgrimnur did not own a Copy of the Play.
It is Night.

No, it is only fluff. Re: The King in Yellow (Night 3)
I'm pretty confused at Izzy's behavior. He's acting like this is normal Werewolf and that something about him will make him a target.
But... it's not, and he's not.
The Alienist wants to eliminate copies of the play and send the insane to the asylum. We now know that Izzy has no play, so he's safe (for now).
Meanwhile, Hildred has no incentive to murder someone just for having had a copy of the play, does he? (Who does he actually want to kill besides the Alienist?)
Izzy's focus on staying alive makes me wonder if he's the Alienist.

Tis true that Issy doth protest a bit much to be just an uninspired student...
But again, without a copy of the play in hand, what shall we do.

Well, only 2 people can give someone a copy of the book and only under specific conditions.
1. Hildy if he still has a copy.
2. A student who has a book AND has read the book.
Do no way of knowing if anyone is actually able to do it at this time.

Re: The King in Yellow (Day 4)
Day 4
A congregation of intellectuals, fiercely discussing the purpose of Art outside the Notre Dame has almost pushed the market-stalls into the Seine. Two combatants, foaming at the mouth and screaming at each other, gesticulate and point to the old cathedral:
“We delude ourselves with the trappings of religion but know deep down that there is no white-bearded Grand Père in the sky, looking down at us with benevolence but only welcoming us home on the condition that we perish! Those reactionary ideas, dressed up in costume, displayed as theatre, but no more true than any child’s lullaby or fable!”
“Do you really think it is sufficient putting Man front and center! A mere diversion, some shiny thing to dangle in front of ourselves while we condemn ourselves to eternity in Hell! Heathen scum! Our Lord – the King – is dead, and we killed him! He is clad in tatters in the color of decay and rot!”
Presently, the Police appear to carry both men off. The rest of the gathering disperse, mumbling and shrugging. But a lingering insight rattles your brain for the remainder of the day: What if the King wears no mask, because the stories he tell hide no depth? What if they are only what they appear to be, and nothing more? What then can we pin our hopes to?
It is Day.

Re: The King in Yellow (Day 4)
This is starting to feel like groundhog day except now you all just f*cking with me.
I got sent a play last night then stepped out to get a pack of big red from the corner store and come back to busted down door and the play is gone. I didn't even get chance to read the thing! What has a guy got to do to get inspired around here?
And because it has become the norm: Holman, still cool with us going through your house again? I'm starting to think you are the muse.
