Has anyone tried this? It was on my wishlist, and is on sale but only -10% down to $31.49. There is also a demo, but I am pretty much all or nothing on this one. It is turn based (yay) and the style reminds me of Secret of Mana. The music is allegedly top notch. Will probably pull the trigger manana.

I thought it was mostly just meh. A good hit of JRPG nostalgia for the first few hours, but it got boring pretty quickly. Music and art were good, but the story, world, and combat weren't all that interesting. A few posts about it here.

I do seem to be the outlier though. Everyone else seemed to love it so ymmv.

Yeah, from what I've seen, people seen to like it. But I'm like you - haven't pulled the trigger yet. The price tag is a little high, when I have lots of other things vying for my time. On my wishlist though.
