I dare say they are ready to end the whole war. If only they had some choice in the matter.

I hope Ukraine is doing the right thing and not just being lulled in to a Putin trap made possible the GOP or more shamefully, the US.

Thanks for sharing that.

It's hard to imagine the pure hell this has been for the Ukranians (and I suppose all the fodder). I'm so sad we didn't help Ukraine in the manner we should have.

Just to be clear, I believe that is a Russian diary. It is still horrible, but the "I'm so sad we didn't help them in the manner we should have" comment might hit differently with that context.

Ooff.

Yeah, I missed that. I just read the words and skipped the lead up.

At a certain point, ‘puppet’ is too weak a word to accurately portray the level of obsequiousness being demonstrated.
He's in a sub/dom relationship with Putin as the dom?
Does that wotk?

Since Russia commiting war crimes doesn't fit the new narrative the program in charge of tracking abducted Ukranian children has been defunded. More alarming is that the tracking database is gone.

Most alarming to U.S. lawmakers briefed on the matter is the suspected deletion of the research lab’s database amid the scramble to comply with the administration’s termination notice — an action likely to set back efforts to find the missing children and hold to account those responsible for their abduction.

“We have reason to believe that the data from the repository has been permanently deleted,” a group of lawmakers led by Rep. Greg Landsman (D-Ohio) warned in a letter to Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. “If true, this would have devastating consequences.”

“This vital resource cannot be lost,” says a copy of the letter, obtained by The Post.
