Games I'd buy but can't afford

Post by The Mad Hatter »

Half Life and Half Life 2
Pirates!
World of Warcraft
Vampires: Bloodlines
Metal Gear Solid 3 (PS2)
KOTOR 2 (due out in a few days for XBox)

Sigh...I've already blown my Christmas money and can't afford to spend more. At best I can pick up the Game of the Year Half Life pack, that would hold me for a while.

I bought HL2, but I won't be buying any of the others when they come out. I also have a limited cash supply since I am in college.

Edited to mention that I'd like to play all of those other than MGS3 since I don't have a PS2.
Now Playing:

WoW (PC)
LotRO (PC)
GH2 (360)

Heh, dating does rack up the bills. I'm going out for lunch with her tomorrow, more money spent. Garf.

It should be time for her to spend some money on you.

Oh, she does, she pays for more than I do but even when it's Dutch it still adds up.

My list:

Pirates!
KOTOR 1 (Which can be had for 19.99 at Walmart, but, you know.)
Half-Life 2

But I should really cut back. I don't need any more games, really. I just got a crapload on sale at EB, so I should be set.

I still haven't played Rise of Nations. I'm waiting for a $19.99 on the whole she-bang.

You might be waiting a while on that, Dirt. Look at the price of the similar Age Of Empires 2 Gold Edition. I would suggest picking up Rise of Nations sooner rather than later, because the price is not going to drop that hard, sadly. :(

Grr, for me it is the other way around: money is no object, but there just aren't enough hours in the day between my job, my wife, etc.

I'm sure having a baby in January will really free things up for me too
