Awesome guys, glad to have you.
I think every single moderator and administrator from the old boards is on board with this new site. If we left one of those people behind, I'm at a loss as to whom it may be (although we're currently negotiating Andrew's excessively rock-star demands -- no brown M&M's in the staff candy dish? Sheesh!), and I'll feel extremely bad if someone pops in and says "I was a moderator at the end, jackass, and I think it's pretty low that you didn't remember that." So if it isn't 100% of the former forum staff, then it's 95% and someone pretty forgettable on the other side.
Peacedog is our acting "Big Tentacle" at the moment, but for the most part it's basically a free-for-all with ideas flying and people bragging about just what aspects of coding they're capable of. Extra notice should be paid Rip's way as he's the gracious host of this forum site.

Hello everyone!
I was beginning to panic.
I was Mark L in the GG forums, but have now changed my name to the one I had originally wanted but screwed up two years ago when I joined there.
This is my first post here. Hope it works allright. The 'subject' line at the top when I hit 'reply' is messing with my mind, but I assume I don't have to put anything in there for a reply...

Thanks for the welcome, Ash.
Funny, I don't remember ever seeing that 'subject' line on the GG forums when I hit reply there. Maybe I just blocked it out in my head over time.
edit: Okay, I think I didn't read your post carefully enough.
What's GGNL?
further edit: y'know, maybe I need to browse around here a bit more before I start asking stupid newbie questions. I'm off to work now though.

Jeez, I am without the internet for a couple of days and when I come back "Not Quite Gone Gold" is gone and I thought everyone was just on CG.
Glad I found this place. As much as I like the guys at the CG forum, it doesn't feel like GG to me. Not that I won't be visiting CG still.
Anyway, howdy folks.
