Looks very nice.

When they changed the name, I was thinking that Microsoft had a lock on naming a game "Age Of" anything. You would think they would at least protect that to avoid anyone thinking that another game was associated with them (in the series at least).

Or is this like the Tycoon name where anybody can use that ?

Talonsoft came out with Age of Sail before Microsoft did Age of Empires.

Incidentally, Age of Sail 2 was developed by Akella... who are making Age of Pirates.

I wouldn't hold that against them. Age of Sail 2 was a dreadful mess of a game (rescued somewhat later with a budget release called Privateers Bounty).

I thought Pirates of the Carribbean was Sea Dogs 2.

PotC was Sea Dogs 2 hastily re-envisioned with a Disney license that Bethesda couldn't resist and rushed out the door to meet the movie debut. As I understand it, Akella were always a little bitter about the result so they set about doing a "real" Sea Dogs 2.
