That was my mistake, I didn't proofread my post since I was, literally, leaving for work when I saw that the lynch vote was in, and hastily put up my post. I'll correct in with my next post, however. The Meal wrote:The list says 9 are left, but Remus is croaked, no? Was someone else tagged as dead that shouldn't have been? The sun rises on Watch Hill, perhaps for the last time. The few remaining villagers exit their houses, fearful of what events could take place this day.
“Yes, my lords! Perhaps this will be our day to shine!” someone cries.
“How many times do I have to tell you, LordMortis! SHUT UP!” screams ezmate.
The corpse of tru1cy is found inside his house. A note is also found pinned to his chest. The message is difficult to make out, due to the great deal of blood that soaked into the paper. Eventually, the message is figured out, and it reads:
“Dear villagers,
It was almost like Remus never died. Thanks.”

Here's where we stand right now:
As pointed out earlier, we can only afford to kill one non-wolf. As soon as we kill the second non-wolf, we lose the game. We can't miss again...
*Bakhtosh's innocence assumes that SoulBrother#1 was the seer.
**If you think SoulBrother#1 was the Sorcerer, then Lord Mortis is a wolf and Bakhtosh is among the unknowns. We then have 2 wolves among the 6 unknowns.

Well, I don't know if you believe or not ezmate but I am the sorcerer and not like my fellow villager Bakhtosh. So promise me after we lynch Bakhtosh that I can eat some.
I promise not to pull my vote and out you as wolf and you will be safe. I really do promise. But if you prefer we could pr0ner instead.

So, what? We're throwing in the towel? Hell, you might as well vote for Lord Mortis, then...we know he's not a wolf & his death would be oh-so-satisfying.Bakhtosh wrote:Contrary to my earlier post, I think the time for discussion has passed. LM just came out as the sorc, telling his bretheren to vote for me. Kraegor, who has already been publicly stated as my first choice for this turn, followed his lead.
Guilt doesn't get any more sure than that.
4 votes needed for majority.
3 wolves
1 sorcerer
Me + 2 other innocents
The odds look REAL bad right now.
And despite your (what I'm assuming was a mistake) earlier, we have no more mistakes to make. We have to kill 3 wolves in the next 3 turns or we're all going to be steaming piles of wolf crap in the next couple of days.

And before anyone says it, lynching LM yesterday would have had zero effect on the results today.
Leaving:
Bakhtosh - Innocent
Crux - Innocent (unknown)
pr0ner - probably wolf
ezmate - innocent for this example
Kraegor - wolf
Mark - innocent for this example
MrBubbles - wolf for this example
We would have come into this day with the same options as yesterday with no more information: 4 innocents and 3 wolves. Crux would have most likely been our choice, same as yesterday. He would have been innocent, and we would all perish since 3 wolves & 3 villagers = wolves win.

The odds of anyone other than me dying right now are so slim that it would be a miracle for it to go any other way.ezmate wrote:So, what? We're throwing in the towel? I've been saying that for ages! This shouldn't surprise anyone.Bakhtosh wrote:LM just came out as the sorc...
Ok, very good point (shit, there goes the last 20 minutes I've spent writing a different post - accusing Kraegor).Bakhtosh wrote: 4 votes needed for majority.

Basically, we know there are 3 wolves left. If LM is the sorcerer, we are screwed.
Our only hope, then, is that LM is a wolf (meaning there are 3 wolves & 4 innocent villagers, not 3 wolves, 1 sorcerer, & 3 villagers). It seems unlikely, but that's our ONLY HOPE OF WINNING.
I say we Lynch Lord Mortis. If he is a wolf, that means there is no sorcerer & Kraegor is next. Then there's only one wolf left.
If he's not a wolf, we lose, but oh my god, it would be so satisfying to kill him. Of course, if he's not a wolf, he won't die...Bakhtosh will...(3 wolves & 1 sorcerer)
Ugh...C'mon people, get your asses in this thread.

Im torn.. I agree Kraegor jumped on the wagon fast, but if it wasn't Bahktosh I would say it could have easily been him trying to deflect the blame.. The reason for picking Kraegor is weak... could be he jumped on the wagon to get it over with fast, but Im also leaning toward LordMortis. the guy has mudded the water for quite a long time.

Why do I get the feeling today will be a needlessly long day?
If only I could vote for myself. But even the cowardly wolves would be afraid to jump on me on until one of the innocents did.
I'll tell you what Mr Bubbles and ezmate. Here's my deal. You get it over and vote for Bakhtosh or I jump ship and vote for Kreagor while he is almost dead and the village wins.
That or you actually convince a villager to vote for me so I can die.

If it's of any consequence. Lynching me is the better move just in case. I'm happy to die to move to end game but for me I just feel like dragging it out today.ezmate wrote:I guess I was getting greedy - I wanted to see the village lynch another non-wolf.
So, just for fun, Lynch Bakhtosh
Oh yeah, one more thing...Woof!
You guys did a hell of a job, I'm going to be very curious to figure what the hell your motivation was. I could never figure a damned thing that made you operate and you all managed to stay hidden right up until Nameless' back was to the wall.
Oh and if I were a good guy now is the time would have pulled my vote for Bakhtosh, so wolf #3 it's safe to come out now.

Yeah, I agree. I was just hoping somebody would take the bait & jump on the LM bandwagon. I was prepared to switch to Bakhtosh as soon as the 3rd vote came in, though.LordMortis wrote: If it's of any consequence. Lynching me is the better move just in case.
