Have some extra Paypal bucks and was interested in buying a budget game to play on my new, blazing fast, widescreen Dell laptop. I am pretty open to all genres, so throw some recommendations my way.

Armed & Dangerous can be found for cheap.

Prince of Qin is a fun, if confusing, RPG.

what genre do you like?

off the top of my head:

morrowind GOTY edition
Rainbow Six Raven Shield Gold
Divine Divinity (AVOID BEYOND DIVINITY!!!)
Ghost Recon Gold (includes all expansions)
Chrome (I liked that game, for some reason)
Thief III (probably in my top 10 games of last year)

I'll try to add more as i think of them. all the above games can be had for 30 bucks or less from best buy, EB, etc..

The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay is $29.99 and more than worth every penny.

And even better, it is $19.99 this week at CC. I plan on picking it up.

Call of Duty can be found now for under $30.

As this thread isn't about a single released PC game, it's being moved to PC Gaming in General.

If you don't mind pitching in $3 of your own cash you can get Half-Life 2 for 32.90 at gogamer.

They had Pirates! for 29.99 too but looks like they just bumped it back up to $40. :(

Warblade is a great update to the old school Galaga shooters. It has purty graphics, although I had to crank some of the effects down as they were too distracting.
