I was very disappointed in that movie, having read the book for an anthropology course. I got an "A" for slagging it in a review.

Here's a much, much, mu-huuuch better movie:

Geez, don't tell me I stumped the room with this classic..

OK, the movie stars two western legends effectively making their swan songs. The guy pictured was probably the most successful western actor of his time not named John Wayne and this was his last film ever. His co-star would make a few more movies, but only as a bit player. The director, on the other hand, was just getting started. Practically unknown when this was made, he would go on to become one of the most iconic American directors of the 60's and 70's.
