Scores are back on par with Week 1 this week. You guys (and gals) are too good. I went 11-5 this week, including hitting all my locks. I didn't expect to win the week, but I thought I did alright. Alas, 27 pts is only good for bottom-third this week. Ugh.

Kudos to JC Anejo for picking himself up off the mat and going from worst to first this week.

Game of the Week: Detroit wins! Holy cow!

Upset of the Week: Interestingly, it's not Detroit. And it's not even close. JAX over HOU was a much bigger pool upset.

Sure Thing of the Week: BAL over CLE. Everyone got it, only 3 failed to lock it.

Game of Next Week: No brainer--GB @ MIN. Favre vs the Pack on MNF. Should be a fun one. Bonus: One or more of those two teams will fail to get a win!

As a Lions fan may I suggest reading the sports page upside down? Sometimes it helps for a few minutes before the distress really sets back in.

You should only worry if the winds are around 50 mph so Cutler can not throw. The Lions have proven the might be able to defend the run but can not even come close to defending the pass so unless Cutler's arm falls off from throwing to much you have no worries.

Repeat comment from last week: you guys are TOO GOOD. 3 of you missed one game?? Pool-wide, the average score per game was 2.04. Ridiculous.

Game of the Week: GB @ MIN. Green Bay gave it a shot, but Minnesota is firing on all cylinders this season. If DET can get a couple more wins, the NFC North will be the undisputed best division in the league for the first time in quite some time.

Upset of the Week: JAX over TEN. Which is funny considering how well we're all doing--JAX won the upset game last week, too. So all of you, be sure to pick JAX next week.

Sure Thing of the Week: CHI over DET, barely beating out both IND over SEA and NYG over KC.

Game of Next Week: CLE @ BUF. Just kidding. There aren't any super-huge games coming this week, so I'll go with ATL @ SF in a meeting of the NFC up-and-comers.
