Yeah, if you were friends with Groucho you're definitely frigging old.

Another sign that you're definitely frigging old is if you interviewed Henry Kissinger back when people weren't surprised that Henry Kissinger is still alive.

I wonder who will be considered the last surviving WW2 veteran, and in what country?

I suppose if you were a partisan (or late-stage Hitler Youth) in Europe you could have been as young as 12 while fighting in 1945 (and you'd be 89 now). But the youngest regular soldiers are all into their mid-90s.

I didn't think they were dead, but John Williams and Judd Hirsch are now the oldest ever Oscar noms respectively.

Judd 87 and John 90. I knew John was pretty up there as he has done music scores forever as I can recall. But did not realize Judd was 87. I was thinking 70s. Should have realized that as I first saw him in Taxi. Not saw him in a lot though. He did more stuff my wife would have enjoyed like Ordinary People and A Beautiful Mind ( which I did really enjoy). But I do recall Dear John and of course Independence Day.

Gomez can never die. Not because of Addams Family mumbo-jumbo, mind you, but it was in his contract.

After watching "Contact" again I discovered that author Ann Druyen, Carl Sagan's widow, is still this side of the sod.

In the I didn't actively think he was dead but I'm surprised that he's still alive category, Terry Carter (the original Colonel Tigh) is still going at 94.

Funny, I was just reading about him last night because we were watching Batman. John Astin is one of only five "Special Guest Villains" from the Batman series who are still alive. The others are Julie Newmar  , Barbara Rush, Joan Collins, and Glynis Johns.

After just re-watching Grumpy Old Men I see that Ann-Margaret is still with us. 30 years later the other principal actors are gone. But man, Matthau and Lemon were a joy to watch together.

I've got Grumpier in my queue too. One of those rare sequels that's as good as the original. Looking forward to seeing it again soon.

William Russell, who played Ian Chesterton, one of the original group of companions to the First Doctor, is still alive at age 98.
In 2022, Russell made a cameo appearance as Ian in the 2022 special "The Power of the Doctor". With this appearance, he broke the Guinness World Record for the "Longest gap between TV appearances" at 57 years, 119 days.

You may just be the only one alive who looks forward to such a "young dish" showing her stuff.

She is one of us. I mean if they're out there you might as well inspect them!

And from what Ive seen of her pics she is amazing clothed or not. Age or not. I do recall wondering what happened to Ann Margret but Sophia made herself at home and fit right in.

Patrick Duffy.

For some reason, I was convinced that he was dead. Apparently I just dreamed it.

He's not even all that old (73). I've been trying to figure out why I thought he was dead, and I suspect that my slowly curdling brain had him mixed up with Bill Bixby, maybe.

I was recently reminded of how much I love Hitchcock's North by Northwest, and it turns out that Eva Marie Saint (Cary Grant's love interest in the movie) is still alive at 98.

Fans can still catch Van Dyke moving his feet on his Instagram account. In June 2021, he danced to Beck's "Loser." "Mister likes dancing to the beats of @beck in his new overalls from @urbanoutfitters," his wife wrote in the caption.

The actor wanted to be challenged by his Mary Poppins Returns dance, as well. He was given three versions of the choreography to choose from and "took the hardest one."

"I said I want that one," Van Dyke told CBS This Morning. "I just had to prove I could do it."

I find it disturbing so many here have seen that movie. How do you know it's not CGI Van Dyke?

Because it's not? He was very forward about his role in the movie, that it was all him. No CGI, no Stunt doubles.
