Does lynching the Minion count as a WIN condition of 'Lynching a Werewolf'stessier wrote:Winning
- Votes will be tallied and announced. The leading vote total is lynched. In the event of a tie, all tied players are lynched.
- Everyone on Team Good wins if at least one Werewolf if lynched - EVEN IF players other than a Werewolf are lynched!
- It is theoretically possible that no one will be a Werewolf. In this case, the only way for the Village to win is if no one dies.
- Team Evil wins if at least one player was a Werewolf and no Werewolves die.
- Team Fluid wins with whichever team they end up on (see specific roles for details).
- If the Tanner is in the game, then
- If the Tanner dies and no Werewolves die, the Werewolves DO NOT win.
- If the Tanner dies and a Werewolf also dies, Team Good wins.
- If the Tanner dies and there were no Werewolves, Team Good loses.
If the Troublemaker's Swaps cards and the Drunk is no longer the Drunk - how does that play out when the Drunk is asked to swap roles with a Grave.stessier wrote:Night Activities
- Roles are randomly assigned leaving three roles unassigned (Grave A, B and C)
- After all roles are received, orders are sent into the Moderator and resolved in the following order:
- Werewolves are told who their partner is (if any)
- Minion is told who the Werewolves are (if any)
- Masons are told who their partner is (if any)
- Seer has a Vision
- Robber may choose to swap Roles with the Target.
- Troublemaker may choose to switch the cards of two other players.
- Drunk must choose a Grave to swap Roles with.
- Insomniac verifies what Role they have.
The Minion counts as a Villager for lynching purposes, but wins with the Werewolves. So lynching him does not give the Villagers a win.Unagi wrote:Does lynching the Minion count as a WIN condition of 'Lynching a Werewolf'stessier wrote:Winning

That's my thinking too, I can' think of a reason why the Seer would want to hide.bb2112 wrote:Camp RosterIn Captain Obvious fashion I am going to assume if you checked in you are not the seer.

That's where you have to fall back to the idea of people sitting around in a circle. During the Night, you carry out the roles you had when everyone closed their eyes. So yes, the Troublemaker could move the Drunk's card, but the Player who went to sleep as the Drunk is the one who is going to open his eyes when told to do so.Unagi wrote:If the Troublemaker's Swaps cards and the Drunk is no longer the Drunk - how does that play out when the Drunk is asked to swap roles with a Grave.stessier wrote:Night Activities

(I'm assuming the Troublemaker's swaps are not revealed to the Card Holders)
I don't think I get that.
Yes, that is correct.Holman wrote:I think I'm still trying to get my head around this.
The whole game is one lynch vote, right? There is no wolf kill, and there are no deaths other than (a) the victim (or victims if tied) of the lynch and possibly (b) the hunter's chosen target if he is lynched. Is that correct?
Not it!bb2112 wrote:Camp RosterIn Captain Obvious fashion I am going to assume if you checked in you are not the seer.

Dumb luck for me since you're actually a wolf and I scanned you last night.Holman wrote:OK, this game won't take long. I can't think of a reason to wait on this:
I have had back-to-back dumb luck in recent sessions. Last time I shot the Alien on Day One. This time I am the Seer, and I scanned Vorret because of the running joke that we should lynch Vorret.
Well guess what? Vorret is a werewolf.
String him up! I've already voted.
Vorret wrote:It's so bright in here.
Well.. it is, don't you agree?Holman wrote:Vorret wrote:It's so bright in here.
I say they're both lying, it's obvious.Unagi wrote:OK, someone please go through the trouble and figure out why we already have 2 Seer claims.
I recommend killing the Canadian and then killing me.Unagi wrote:Well, from my read of the rules, I am pretty sure only 1 player actually got scans last night - and that would mean that one of them is indeed Lying. So, maybe we just split our Votes on them both, and we are pretty certain to bag a wolf and hence "Win" - am I missing something?
We can not be certain where their votes are going and thus can not be certain of the tie. Thus your plan doesn't work. Similar to a plan I thought of where we all vote for the player "to our left" and call it good when everyone ties at 1 vote. Won't work.Unagi wrote:Well, from my read of the rules, I am pretty sure only 1 player actually got scans last night - and that would mean that one of them is indeed Lying. Like they're gonna fall for that!Moliere wrote:I recommend killing the Canadian and then killing me.Unagi wrote:Well, from my read of the rules, I am pretty sure only 1 player actually got scans last night - and that would mean that one of them is indeed Lying. If they're part of Team Good and not maple loving, furry moose killing wolves they will.Vorret wrote:Like they're gonna fall for that!Moliere wrote:I recommend killing the Canadian and then killing me.Unagi wrote:Well, from my read of the rules, I am pretty sure only 1 player actually got scans last night - and that would mean that one of them is indeed Lying. We had a "lynch Vorret" theme going in the queue for games thread before this one even began. Since this was Day One, you were as good a scan as any.Vorret wrote:I mean why would someone scan me of all people Holman's claim makes no sense.
Moliere's play is weird. He first stepped in to accuse me of being a wolf, but he was lying because I am the seer.Moliere wrote:I recommend killing the Canadian and then killing me.Unagi wrote:Well, from my read of the rules, I am pretty sure only 1 player actually got scans last night - and that would mean that one of them is indeed Lying. Moliere, can you confirm? Is Holman the seer? and are you lying?Holman wrote:Moliere's play is weird. He first stepped in to accuse me of being a wolf, but he was lying because I am the seer.
With 9 players a tie vote is unlikely. You See too much.Holman wrote:We win if we kill a Wolf. If the Tanner also dies, we still win--but the secret vote makes this difficult because the only way to get two deaths is to engineer a tie. It's going to be hard to make a secret ballot turn out accurately. (My understanding is that if we kill the Tanner but fail to kill a Wolf, *only* the Tanner wins.)
