Ya this couldn't fit in the movie trailers thread..its too BIG! ... Looks awesome. Lee Majors even has some role in it. Loved his tv show The Fall Guy in the 80s.

I loved the show as well. And I'm in for anything Ryan Gosling does.
I just hope they incorporate the original theme song in there somewhere. That was a stone cold banger:

I had the inclination to try watching the TV show recently. (I think Amazon Prime has it?). I remember my dad watching it when I was a kid. Never quite got into it yet. Might try again soon. Not sure it needed a big screen remake though.

I remember reading how they had to modify that truck to jump so perfectly. The first jump they did it nosed over and plowed into the ground so they moved the engine to the bed of the truck near the middle to give it balance. Thing flew like a bird after that.
Remember to check out the tv show theme song thread. All of them are in there. Always liked this and Simon & Simon.I just hope they incorporate the original theme song in there somewhere. That was a stone cold banger:

I like Emily (Smoke A) Blunt as much as the next guy. But I'm starting to get EB fatigue.

Just got back from this.
We had a good time and it was a fun movie. The expected cameos were there.
While not overly complex, the plot does have enough twists and turns to keep things interesting.
Naturally it was a very technically complex movie with heavily choreographed action that kept us engaged throughout.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick Ass, Bullet Train) is so adept at disappearing into his roles that I did not even recognize him as Tom Ryder.

I'm much more amused by this movie than I was back in November. Was entertained by Gosling on SNL (though I missed all the Barbie stuff). That said, I can't recall the last time we all went out to the movies, so it's doubtful I'll see it in the theaters. Almost certainly on streaming though.

Id like to go see it too. I dont have anything against the movie but Im curious why they named it Fall Guy when it really has nothing to do with the old show other than character names. Why isn't he a PI? Why isn't the girl an ex stuntman? Wheres the iconic music expect at the end? Stuff like that.
Its been Hollywoodized I guess like all the other cool 80s shows into a comedy.
