Drive Away Dolls

Post by Brian »

A Coen movie but just Ethan on this one.

Sort of a Raising Arizona-ish road trip/caper movie.

On first viewing I'd say it's like a Coen film done in watercolor. You can see that its a Coen film though perhaps not as great as most Coen works but still, it's an enjoyable enough flick on its own.

And unlike with Tarantino, we get to see what is in the case this time around though you should figure it out before the reveal.

Also...poor Curlie.

I love me some Coen, but I'm not paying $30 to watch this on VUDU.

That's a pre order price to own it. Those are always high. See it in a movie theater or wait until it hits streaming services and rental is an option.

We have an Alamo Drafthouse here in Chicago and I'm ashamed to admit I still haven't been.

We have tickets next week for The Serpent & The Rainbow.

Been a while since I've seen that one.

Looks like they’re showing the original Dawn of the Dead in ours next week. I may partake.
