I still feel guilty for liking him as a football player and in the Naked gun movies. It's like Cosby.

Don't feel guilty. The only person that should feel guilty is OJ, because he killed people.

That isn't part of the 'complicated' part. Good riddance.

The only thing that makes it complicated is memories of my childhood when he was a superstar. Even if I didn't like or follow football, I was fond of OJ.

I'll have the same complicated thoughts when Cosby dies. Good riddance to bad rubbish, but Fat Albert? Picture Pages?

One of my employees is apparently a MJ super-fan. I got to listen to 30+ minutes of how he was completely innocent. All the charges were trumped up and lies. The documentary is a "mockumentary" and completely false.

Somehow I managed to keep my mouth shut.

On topic, I have the same problem with OJ and Cosby (though it's much greater with the latter). Mostly it makes me angry. Because they @#$% on my childhood. I still quote Cosby frequently, it's ingrained. And then I invariably wince and get angry.

There's something artificial about it. It makes me wonder about intelligence of the artist.

Yeah, but I will say - OJ probably would have been okay with 6 fingers.

I was living in West LA about 1 mile or so south of the Brown/Simpson House in Brentwood/Santa Monica when he murdered her. I still remember sitting on the stoop of the cottage I lived in at the time and just staring in awe at the gnat-swarm of helicopters over the scene. There must have been 10-20 helicopters just buzzing about the murder house.
