Well, I mean, COME ON. There was such a reservoir of anti-Bush hate, and Kerry couldn't tap into that enough so that he could get 51% of people to LIKE him?

That's just poor. And if the guy couldn't run a campaign, how could he run the country?

I dont' know, from what I've read (first 3 chapters) they were pretty balanced. They showed how kerry's campain was unorganized, while they showed Bush's campaign as being overconfident and cocky. I don't see them taking sides

Sure, hindsight is 20/20. But Kerry did fail to establish a positive image of himself, even in the face of Bush's damaged record. The articles seem especially critical of Teresa, don't you think?

Its critical for good reason. She would have been extremely destructive to a Kerry presidency. Think Hillary Clinton crossed with Billy Carter. Loud and a buffoon.
