I've been having troubles trying to post images here that are hosted on my website -- see this post as an example: http://www.octopusoverlords.com/phpBB2/ ... 8059#28059. Can anyone spot if I am doing something obviously wrong with the BB code?
Edit: Gaaaah. I'm just changing them to links.

I believe you were not including the http:// precursor to your links (at least that was the issue last night when I saw them). Try including that with your [img] [/img] blocks.

I'm not certain that BB sofware will recognize a reference to an image rather than the image itself. In other words, that picture link tells a browser to show a certain picture - it isn't a link directly to an image file that the BB software can display.
The original post was edited, so I can't see the exact problem, but there's my guess - although The Meal is right about the 'http' tag needing to be in there as well.
