Since the US version of GTL is in the stores, I'll ask again.

Anyone intersted in some online play, post here. I can set up a server very easily.

Leave your name and email (or email me at alan.bernardo@gmail.com) and if we get enough participants I'll start the server and give details.

Here's a pretty comprehensive link to some of the course add-ons for GTL:

Thanks,

It's hard to believe no one has an interest in GTL. This is one of the best out there.

And I've heard that the game can be had at Best Buy for 19.99.

Can't beat that deal.

I knew that one of the fastest guys I've seen in PC racing would be one of the first to want to race some GPL. :)

Now we need some others.

I'm not very good, but if you'll allow some traction control and abs (on low) to level the field I'd be in.

That's unbelivable. You buy a game and then can't play it because of some major goof-up. You'd think they'd get on this immediately and get the keys to those without them.

I'm pretty bad also-- I never practice as much as I should. Other things always get in the way.

But do take a look at these tracks that are coming out for GTL. Watkins Glen and Sear's Point are the two most recent released tracks.

It'd be nice to get ten regulars to have a go at this.

Maybe this time I can stick to one racer. :)

I've come to the conclusion that aside from autoclutch I don;t need or want to drive with assists. It doesnt benefit my driving skill improvement and it really doesnt help my times. All I need is a good setup, through understanding what works for me and what the tire temps are telling me and I can drive fairly well.

Im lacking some of the finer points like sliding sideways into a turn and such, but that will come.

Lets Race! :)

I still have to figure out my control setup......

-my gamepad has great analog throttle and brake levers, but steering is too touchy.

-my stick has great steering feel, but lacks analog throttle/brake

-my wheel steers great, but lacks analog throttle/brake with no pedals.

I don't use assists either, except for autoclutch. You get used to it and the cars are not impossible to control.

As posted in PCGBT ...

I will open a GTL server at 7pm PST called "OO racing" with password 'octopi'. All cars, autoclutch only, likely Mondello National. will be up till 8 if no one comes, otherwise open till we are done. We'll see what happens.

I can race maybe at 10pm Eastern, tonight, if anyone wants to give it a go. I can run a server and keep it up, maybe until midnight or so.

I'll give the details if there's an interest.

Track and car(s) requests are always welcome. :)

We could. Not sure what I have planned for Sunday.

But, as it is, in case anyone wants to show, I'll open it up.

IP is 24.131.244.169

Password: doss

Go through Direct IP: I didn't broadcast it in the lobby.

I'll close it by 11:30 pm Eastern if no one shows.

If you try to join and can't get in, post here. I'm not sure about these ports quite yet or whether I have to set them at all.

Edit: It's 11:30 and no one came so I'm closing up shop.
