Thank you for the list. I played in the stress test beta and the open beta, but haven't installed the game yet because I'm playing HL2 right now. When I do install, can I give a shout out to join one of the guilds, whom would I ask to join, and, with me being such a lower level than anyone else, if I needed help for a quest, would any of the higher level players even want to help me out? I usually play solo, just as I did in CoH, but help was always available when I needed it through the guilds I was in.

Well, soloing is really easy in the early going if that's what you'd like to do. I'd be more than willing to help you out if you end up on Kel'Thuzad, just know that it's PVP. I'm sure a lot of people will have lower level alt's as you are coming up the ranks so grouping shouldn't be a problem.

I'll let the guilds speak for themselves but they are usually very welcoming.

Whisperwind:

MAIN: Lattimer - Preist, Alliance <Maelstrom is my guild> About level 16.5 and always looking for groups.

TURN-ONS: I'm often found fishing the canals in Stormwind or picking herbs in Elwyn Forest or Westfall. (My fishing is maxxed and I'm trying to work my Herbalism/Alchemy up).

TURN-OFFS: Bastards who won't group, won't help you while trying to carefully clear out a camp of Gnolls or Merlocs, but will finish it off and be looting the chest when your spirit makes it back to your body.

ALTS:

I'll probably start a Paladin on Whisperwind sometime soon.

I'm gonna start a horde character soon. Haven' decided where. I'll probably play a tauren shaman. That sounds like fun.

Dalaran - Ramoz, Gnome Rogue Lvl 19- Societatis Bellatoris (Guild)

I would have probably played on whisperwind, but I had friends on Dalaran.

On Whisperwind, I'm actually Alliance, not Horde.

On Darkspear, I'm Horde.

I'm tempted to delete my Whisperwind Alliance character and go Horde with a Shaman.
If I had a sig, would you read it?

We'd be happy to have you in Almost Heroes. I'm primarily a soloish guy but it's nice to have some guildmates around as backup. If you'd like to join us, create an Alliance character on Whisperwind and let me know, Rage know or Eco know and we'd be happy to help you get set up.

And you could certainly count on getting help for quests. Last night a guildmate helped me do a quest he'd already completed just to be nice. We've got a good, quality group.

I'll be back with my list of characters in a bit. I just got the game two days ago, and have quite a few characters level 6/7, on Whisperwind. Only one Horde so far, a Tauren Shaman named Bullisious. I have to log on to get the names of my other characters as I made them so fast to get into the game I forget which one is what.

Warning, are those two names Rage know and Eco know?

How many members does Almost Heroes have? I assume more than are on the list here.

I got WoW for Christmas (thank you goes to the wife).

I'm on Whisperwind
Klaad - Dwarf Hunter (Alliance)

I'd like to join Almost Heros, so if one of you guys gets a shout from Klaad... that would be me!

Not all, just:
Dukira, lvl 9 now
Niteshadow: lvl 9
Bullisious: same
Krakan: same
I think if anyone were to see Snoleopard running around (priest) from the guild, they'd know it was me from the boards since I'm the only one with that name here and on WoW, but if you want to add her also, okay. Thanks for the list, and updating it.

Silly me. That Warrior (Harkon) is Human, so Alliance.

I'm going to add a Horde character in a bit, so I'll post with more details. I think I'll end up playing the horde side a bit more. Being outnumbered sounds like fun.

Sometimes I think I left my mind somewhere, and can't find it.. :). All this time, I thought I was on WhisperWind and I was on Windrunner. Stupid, I know. I wanted to get right into the game, and just saw 'wind' and clicked on it. I honestly never noticed that I was on a different server than everyone else, until last night when they took the server offline, and when I went to the boards to check out how long, saw it was Windrunner. Soooo, I started some characters on WHISPERWIND this evening, and here they are, on the correct server this time:

Bullisious: lvl 5 Tauren Shaman
WarWitch: lvl 1 Human Mage
Snoleopard: lvl 6 Human Rouge
Shantara: lvl 6 Night Elf Druid

Here's my updated info. I play all four of these regularly which is probably why the top level's not too high.

Tusker, 22 troll priest, Whisperwind.
Tareeq, 16 orc warlock, Whisperwind.
Drip, 13 undead warrior, Whisperwind.
Foghorn, 13 tauren druid, Whisperwind.

All are members of the Wanderers.

I also have a couple of Alliance alts on another server which I won't name or locate out of shame at having Alliance alts.
Over here.
