Operation Flashpoint mods

So I just managed to dig up my copy of this while home for the break. Is version 1.46 the highest you can patch it without Resistance installed? And what are the best mods and missions out there for it? I remember seeing a thread back on GG about it, but I've long since forgotten the names of any of the mods mentioned.

I believe that you need patch 1.96 only if you have Resistance installed.
You will have to do some further research on this yourself.

Resistance is really a wonderful expansion. You ought to track it down, or buy the OFP Gold version.
