That looks very familiar.
I don't think I've played it, but I know I've seen that shot somewhere, like in a magazine or something...

Psychonauts...great game 8-)

the recent games had gotten so obscure that i kind of quit checking the thread frequently. this one's a piece of cake for anyone that actually played the game though.

Neverwinter nights?

It's definitely Neverwinter Nights (or one of the expansions).

I started the original screenshot game over two decades ago on Gonegold. Don't remember exactly when. At 67, I'm grateful just to remember to use the toilet.

Anyway, I got a hankering to post one again, and nominate this game's constant dialogue butchering as best pc comedy of all time.

Jesus said, "Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body."[Matt 10:28] God can totally destroy us.

Jesus also said, "For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”[John 6:40] Eternal life is conditional.

His disciple John wrote, "Whoever has the Son has eternal life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have eternal life. [1 John 5:12] Eternal life is optional.

No clue, but that dialogue is pretty painful/funny.

That wasn't STALKER, was it? The bad translation and the art-style, and the dialog box is a bit reminiscent of that.

My first thought was actually Wasteland 2. I haven't played it, but I am guessing they have better dialog than that.

Google tells me it's Precursors, which is from a Ukrainian studio.

But if It does not post the next screenshot in a couple days, would you do us the honor, Isgrimnur?

Huh, I thought that's what it was... but I couldn't remember the name, and Google felt like a cheat. (At the time, to me; someone who wasn't even participating in the thread. Not a dig at Isg who moved things along days later lol.) I never played it, but I remember it being recommended as unique despite its many shortcomings.

I saw a commercial on late night TV. It said, "Forget everything you know about slipcovers." So I did. And it was a load off my mind. Then the commercial tried to sell me slipcovers, and I didn't know what the hell they were. -- Mitch Hedberg

Not much of a hint I guess, but this is one of a few games that pretty much stays installed on my desktop.

Here's an actual hint: this is one in a SERIES of games that stays installed. There are quite a few of these games in a series...the screenshot represents the most recent one.
Too much? :D

I was pretty sure I new the series, but not the version, so I didn't say anything. I did check, though - and I wasn't even close.
