This isn't a tough one. Hint: It is a sci-fi RPG. That narrows it down to like two and a half games.

Correct. I was feeling a bit lazy. I'm working on a movie-ized thingy of it and it was the simplest thing for me to get a screengrab from. Your turn.

And if not, then probably 'Wolf'.

Here's a hint.

This was a side scroller arcade game. It had great VGA graphics and was one of the
first games to use parallax effect on the distant scenery.

The word "Demon" was part of the title. It came out on DOS, and I think Amiga as well.

I'm pretty sure that's right (never would have gotten it without the clue, though). Here's a classy one for you:

See if you can get it without Googling "Tickingclock".

Yes, Wrath of the Demon was the correct answer. It actually was a great-looking game at a time when VGA monitors were a novelty. Very smooth scrolling graphics, which were also extremely rare on PC at the time.

I'm positive that a large number of OOers could get this one in an instant. Unfortunately, they tend to congregate in the Console forum.

looks like Guitar Hero 3...Xavier Stone has been in all the games except GH80s, but that stage is definitely from GH3 8-)

SIM can post the next challenge though...

Yeah, that was kind of a pain in the ass.

It's for another topic really, but I enjoyed U9 a lot more than other people did.

Despite the insane number of bugs, I really have good memories from that game. Perhaps I had the advantage of a clean perspective - I hadn't played any of the other games in the series, so I was only judging it on its own merits. Anyway, here is a new shot. The new BIGIMG tags are in use, so click it for the full size shot:

Hidden and Dangerous 2?

Looks like a tac squad game but I dont think its GR and doesnt look blocky enough to be H&D1.

Yep. Right at the beginning of mission #2. You steal a boat (in the background) at the end of mission #1 and take it to a German outpost in mission #2.

Thats it. Once I clear out some of my FPS I will probably go back to it. I always liked how the scanning effects looked.
