If it makes you feel better, I ran 0 miles so far this year and I am not sure I ran at all last year either. I was the captain of the cross country team in high school (my best friend would tell you co-captain, but everyone knows it was really me). I've run on and off but less and less as I get older. I did find that running really increased my appetite and ended up being a net negative for weight loss (and by negative, I mean my weight was going positive... which is negative).
Obviously running is good for cardio health, but... ok, really just excuses, I don't like spending my time doing it.
Oh and for you specifically for you SP, if you are really working 12-14 hours a day, I am impressed you make time to run at all, and not running from that job.
