Well do you ever get the feeling that the story's too damn real and in the present tense?
Or that everybody's on the stage and it seems like you're the only person sitting in the audience?

Re: The Meal's 2010 Hold 'Em Tournament Hand 35
Sorry about the delay, gang. What's already a busy time of year for me personally turned into a busy stretch professionally as well. I may remain a bit of a flake through this week (and beyond).
As it turned out Hand 34 was destined to be super interesting. But I had screwed up in passing out cards. Fortunately nobody was affected by how it played out. Vorret and rshetts (the button and SB) both got the correct cards (and folded). JC got sent the same two cards that rshetts received, which could've been bad. Really bad. As it turned out JC was supposed to get
And the board was going to play out:
As JC indicated, he thought he received T-5, but as I indicated that was actually rshetts's hand. And obviously had he played it, his straight would have lost to JC's flush. And while I won't give away Vorret's holding, he would have had a well-above-average hand as well.
So as it turned out, no harm no foul. But that was a close one.
One other mistake, clicks "In" for 34 was supposed to be 230, making clicks "Out" 233. See what happens when I've got too much going on?
JC Anejo wins a pot of 45 chips and while he didn't know it, he held the .
Hand 35, Blinds: 15/30
Clicks in/out: 233/236 (next level at 245, estimated to be Hand 40)

Re: The Meal's 2010 Hold 'Em Tournament Hand 36
Wow! back to back 12 hr work days plus 8 more today... kinda got me off track a bit on the poker thing. If JC wasnt bullying the pot so much I might have stayed last hand. Unfortunately, Im too short stacked to pot commit on even average cards. I keep hoping Ill get decent cards and catch him sometime but Ive been getting the worst card run Ive had playing hold'em. To put it in perspective that 10- 5 unsuited hand ( that JC mistakenly received ) was the second best hand I had received in about 10 hands. The best wasnt much better ( J - 8 non suited ) and it cost me because I actually stayed that hand. Seriously Im amazed Im still alive Barring some serious luck Im sure thats a very short term situation though.

No need to bump (though it doesn't hurt anything, either). You can count on me getting to this as my schedule allows. With the return of the nice weather, I'm not online all that much on the weekends (though I did make a few posts from my iPhone this last weekend, there wasn't any sit-down posts from my computer).
