I watched Deadwood and I thought it struggled a bit after the first season. I might have to give it a rewatch. When it was good it was great.

I felt like we were supposed to find out that Raylan Givins was the great great grandson of Seth Bullock.

So I just found out Dewey Crowe was played by an Australian actor.

Damn, he played a good hillbilly. I had no clue.

He is excellent as Buddy in Quarry - a new series that just started by the creators of Banshee - check it out :D

That's what made me look him up on IMDb. I couldn't quite place him at first on Quarry.

Australia seems to be well represented in US movies and TV. It's surprising to realize how many actors you assumed were Americans were actually Aussies.

But Dewey freakin' Crowe? That character was the most hillbillyist character on a show full of hillbillys.

I mean, that's some Eddie Marsan levels of character acting (Eddie's my baseline for great character actors).

I had the same reaction when after learning the actor playing Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) on True Blood was Australian. Is was extremely disorienting to hear him speak. I'm not sure I could handle hearing Dewey Crowe either. :D

Go listen to James Marsters (Spike from Buffy) sometime. My brain can't process it at all.

I just read the wiki for Moonlight. What a convoluted and formulaic sounding show. Also didn't know McGarrett was in it.

Just started on season 3, so I guess that puts me somewhere in page 4 of the thread. It's not often that a show sticks with me for this long since I dropped cable several years back.

Finished up Season 3 a few days ago. I've always enjoyed Neal McDonough's work. Heck of a way to see the end of his arc.

Back in the saddle after a long time away, working into Season 4. I'm glad that Patton Oswalt isn't an every episode guest.

How can you hate on Bob?

I recently re-watched the series for a third time. It's the rare show that actually gets better with repeat viewings.

Agreed, the writing is just fantastic, Raylan has some great lines, and the series is just full of odd, unique, memorable characters. I will forever be indebted to this series for adding the term "gun thugs" to my vocabulary :)

It was a pleasure watching characters like the medical miracle that was Dewey Crowe, the man with four kidneys!

Please make this true:
The team behind “Justified” is reuniting to develop an FX series based on the Elmore Leonard novel “City Primeval: High Noon in Detroit,” with Timothy Olyphant potentially returning as Raylan Givens, Variety has learned exclusively.
I didn't realize how much I'd missed him in this role until I recently saw him (sorta) reprise it in The Mandalorian.

Deadline
Justified: City Primeval has been greenlighted at FX, with Timothy Olyphant reprising his role as U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens for the limited series.

Seven years on from the end of FX’s Justified, Sony Pictures Television and FX Productions are producing their latest Elmore Leonard adaptation, based on the author’s novel City Primeval: High Noon In Detroit. The development was teased early last year, at which point Deadline revealed Fargo Season 4 star Olyphant was in talks to return.

Olyphant also is exec producing alongside showrunners and writers Dave Andron and Michael Dinner and original creator Graham Yost, with Dinner directing.

I’m rewatching this so I’m really happy that I can cap it off with the new adventures of Marshal Givens!

(Hopefully with very special guest star Wynn Duffy)

Sadly, a kidney won’t help Dewey at this point.
