Mobile gaming
I'd like to suggest that the "Console Games" forum be renamed "Console and Mobile Games". It already includes threads for iPad and Android games, but there's still some uncertainty about where that type of post belongs, as evidenced by this recent thread in the "Gaming in General" forum.

Either that or just add it to the 'flavor text' underneath the title.

I agree that editing Console Games would make the most sense. Here's the logic that caused me to place my thread in GiG:
-PC Gaming: Clearly a phone is not a PC.
-Console Games: A phone is not a console in the traditional sense.
-Forum Games: Clearly not.
-Gaming In General: "All discussions regarding Electronic, Board, Card, and RPG Gaming, including industry discussion, that don't belong in one of the other gaming forums."
Since mobile gaming is likely to rise to the same level of popularity as console gaming in the very near future, I'd be OK renaming to Console & Mobile Games, or to simply changing the subtext to explicitly include mobile gaming.
-PC Gaming: Clearly a phone is not a PC.
-Console Games: A phone is not a console in the traditional sense.
-Forum Games: Clearly not.

I think the console forum would be the perfect place for iPad/iPhone/Android/etc. type games. Let's rename it and make it so. In my mind I associated Gaming in General with industry stuff, board games and very general game-related topics.

I don't have a strong opinion one way or the other. Unless someone comes along with a compelling reason not to make the change, it sounds like the masses (well, the five who have posted ahead of me anyway) are in favor.

To be fair, adolescent power fantasy tripe is way easier to write than absurd existential horror, and every community has got to start somewhere... right?
Unless one loses a precious thing, he will never know its true value. A little light finally scratches the darkness; it lets the exhausted one face his shattered dream and realize his path cannot be walked. Can man live happily without embracing his wounded heart?

Finally, a home to discuss my N-gage.
I think the change is appropriate. Portables are pretty much consoles (DS, PSP). Phones/tablets are very similar to portables.
