Yes, I am. I figure that, if the wolves are this indecisive, I might as well wander around looking for their lair and hoping for the interminabe night to come to an end. :)

Sorry for the big delay. This one is on me. Traveling all day yesterday and just to busy to get it done yet today. Update coming soon.

The night goes on for much longer than some thought possible. What is it with these evil powers, the travelers murmured, are they so strong as to stop the sun? Yet as the night wore on their fear began to fade a bit. Perhaps the wolves had broken free of their curse and they would be left to themselves. Perhaps they were finally saved. The first rays of light began to filter through the leaves of the forest coloring the floor a gentle red. Red? The travels looked up. The leaves above were covered in blood through which the sun's rays coursed picking up the hideous tint. Quickly the travelers scrambled out from under the macabre seen and into a new clearing with clean light coming in. A head count showed them that pr0ner was missing. He was clearly the wolves victim in the night.

It is day.

Players:
1. Newcastle - eaten in the night

<Newcastle> Why pr0ner
</Newcastle>

-- Really, Why? I don't think it's totally random... but, off the cuff, it feels like the wolves have a couple of folks (LL/Q) they aren't going to kill, so they're going after... after what? Lassr, Unagi, and to some extend Grund made sense in going after village leaders. Nothing against Newcastle or pr0ner, but neither of them seemed to be leading the group. Did the pair of them have anything in common in what they were after? Time to do some reading.
Sufficient I am to the day.

rshetts2 was a normal traveler. He was not the Witch or the Sorceror.

Makes his self-vote that much more of a shame.

All of us good travelers are going to have to be very, very careful this (game) day. If there is a Witch, as seems to be the case (unless Grund was lying), then we are looking at 4 evils (if there is no Sorceror - we're in dire straits if there is a Sorceror). Meaning, that if just two good villagers cast a vote on a third innocent (or just Lagom alone with his two votes), Team Evil can pile on (with any number of excuses) to cause us to lose a good player today. We (good) all need to be certain of our votes before we place anything in   tags.

Thank you wolves for taking out proner. I was having a hard time reading him, so now I don't have to worry about it.

Qantaga is right, we need to vote for people we are relatively certain about. For me, that is redrun. I've seen nothing that has made me think he is a good guy, and I think the case against him is stronger than the cases against others. I'll withhold my vote until I hear what others have to say.

Semaj, I'm surprised at you. I thought you were a veteran player who was all wily and stuff. After all, most of your posts this game have been about how silly everyone else is being.

Yet you, with your incredible fount of wisdom, can't think of any possible reason the wolves might keep me alive? Seriously?

I never advocated lynching Qantaga. My question is why leave him alive. He is the one player that can help the villagers with information. He is a wolf threat...

Truly, but the only (rational) reason to keep him alive is to get the rest of the village to suspect him. "Why doesn't he die" indeed. The whole "why not Qantaga?" style of posting seems very wolfy to me unless a) you actually believe Qantaga is evil, or b) you're just pointing out how stupid the wolves are.

No, not the case here. I'm just thinking about it. I've stated multiple times in the past that I don't think Qantaga is evil, and I do still believe his claim.

I'm just less sure now. Down from like 95% to about 80%. I still am pretty sure I believe him. Tomorrow is another story, but for now I think I'm still on board.

So let's see who is still here, and who is/claims to be who: [Assumption: 3 wolves left (Fact), Witch (fairly confident), Sorcerer (No proof of existence) ]

1. Qantaga - Good guy - Undertaker : ?
2. Chaosraven
3. Theohall
4. tru1cy
5. msteelers
6. redrun
7. Chrisgrenard
8. Isgrimnur
9. RMC
10. Lagom Lite - Good guy - Mayor
11. Semaj

So from the above list we have 3 wolves and at least a Witch, and maybe a Sorcerer. If we make the assumption that both Q and LL are good guys, that means there are 9 of us left to choose between 4 or 5 bad guys.

If we take Theo at his word that he is a good guy(I am inclined to believe him as the amount of effort he went to in going after rshetts2 looked to me like as human not a wolf), and I know I am a good guy that brings us down to 7 left.

So look back at some of Scoop's post. His first accusation is:
Scoop20906 wrote:After my "almost" win during the Bond game, I am highly insulted that I wasn't the first victim chosen by the baddies. I see I am still not receiving the respect I deserve. :x

Ok, so, Lassr is out. Well, at least I won't have to wonder what the heck he is up to this game. I can never read that guy.

Since we waited so long for this game to start, I'm ready to vote now.

Now, you'd think I'd vote Unagi since he blew the last game or I'd vote Stessier since he was the wolf last game and has it coming or I'd even vote Qantaga because he is most certainly DUE now however, I'm going to go another direction.

 Accuse redrun

My gut says we test him.
So he accuses redrun, right out of the gate. This might be Scoop trying to get people to look away from a fellow wolf. He also pointed the finger at Q and U and Stessier.

This leads me to think Redrun could be a wolf. But it's a gamble on scoops part to point out 2 of his 4 furry friends?? (This assumes Q is a good guy, and U was proven to be human)
Scoop20906 wrote:
That being said, my vote for redrun was simply to get the game rolling and to force people to post and place votes. I agree with you that with 19 players there is a ton of space for a silent wolf to hide. We should force anyone who is not active to get involved or face a bandwagon. It might not net a baddie today but it will give something to study later in the game.

Stessier was the final baddie in the Bond game and he was so damn careful with his posts that it made it difficult on the final day for me to convince Unagi he was the one. I want to push everyone to take a side on votes and post so we have something to work with when we make it to the final day.
However, Scoop goes on to back out of his vote for Redrun on page 2. Still with an accuse tag on him, but looking like - Hey I just wanted to get the ball rolling. Also notice how he mentions Stessier but in a light that kind of makes it look like hey he was bad last game..What are the chances???

Why Lassr? I've rarely been in games with him, but it's been my impression that he's one of the analytical sorts who is good at this game, and good at presenting information for other players to use. I also get the impression that he dies early on a regular basis. All this means is that amoung five wolfs we've got at least one experienced player. So, my current best guess is that evil decided to take out someone they considered a powerful player.
I agree with you but just having at least one experienced player doesn't mean the rest aren't inexperienced players. I wouldn't be surprised if the baddies are mix.

Still, you've been pretty active, haven't you? And that's not what I expected from you when I placed my vote.
And even more backing away from Redrun as a candidate... Still on page two..

I have a meeting that I have to get ready for, but I will continue this thought process out, and also will try to follow Stessier But darn 51 pages is a lot to read... Also, I want to say that this could be a set-up from Stessier and Scoop to target someone for a lynch. So please feel free to chime in. I will follow my thoughts later once I have quoted and posted everything I have seen..

Hey, I just was referencing a politician who happened to take record numbers of vacations, just as our "mayor" was taking a vacation. Yes it was meant in humor, and I think the whole thing could have ended if you had been the one to ignore what was clearly meant as a joke.

That said, if you'd like to have the last word and then be done with it, I invite you to do so. I'm good at this point, but I know the urge to get a last word in can be strong, so I step aside to allow you to do so. Not being sarcastic or anything here, it's an honest offer.

Almost everyone has checked in, but there aren't that many thoughts on who we should or should not go after.

For Qantaga, I don't think we can afford to lynch him today because we are down to our last 1 or 2 misses (depending on the existance of a sorcerer). If we can catch some wolves and build up a buffer, I will listen to the idea of going after him. But until then I'm afraid he is off limits.

As for everyone else, nobody has really stood out as innocent in my eyes, and the only one who I am comfortable voting for is redrun. I held back for a day or two to see if someone would make a case for another player, or maybe even defend redrun, but that didn't happen. So let's get this started.
