Heres another good one of him doing his class. I mean he is really spot on . And he is not mean about it.

Ok I know how the wandering hole card trick works and have seen the sharpie through a card performed and how its made and get that. And it still looks like real magic,

But this one in the video. How the heck does it work? I can see certain quick movements in places and such but its not helping me figure it out.

So, the pen is (like the Sharpie through the bill) actually cut in half, and magnetic... The Black frame around that yellow center is ridged, but the yellow square in the middle is actually able to shift to the left and right...
So the pen is shoved through the hole - and then, the quick move you see is the magician shifting the yellow center section to the side, and in doing so, hiding the first hole behind the black frame, at the same time a second hole is going to now show up on the other side of this big card - but it is kept hidden So the pen is now actually cut in half and held together through magnets (like the Sharpie trick), and the magician slides it around -- eventually getting it in line with "the new hole" and can pull the pen out of this new hole. Hope that made sense.

The piano reflection seems easier to cover for as long as you had something really dark around the camera I don't think it's reflective enough to pick it up.

The shadow thing probably had to be done really carefully using a lot of zoom lens, angles, and making sure the camera was behind whatever light source was illuminating her. However, I believe there was a brief flub around the 4:16 mark when it appears the camera casts a shadow on the arm of the chair.

It's still pretty dang impressive, and an attention to detail that would go over most people's heads. I wonder if it was done with a programmable motorized jib, that's what it looks like. [Edit] The more i watch it, the more it looks a little too "natural" and spontaneous to be programmed. Dang I wish I could see a behind the scenes of this. It's probably way more simple than I'm making it out to be.

At about 5:09 you can see the guy in the reflection holding the camera about waist height.

Like at 1:12 onward a bit the camera comes very close to her and is forward of her . She is casting a shadow the entire time but the camera doesn't make a shadow on her or the wall. WTF Its weird.

I dont know. Im watching and watching and watching over and over. At some point Im thinking the entire shadow is fake and is cgi. Then Im thinking when she raises her hands from the piano that the shadow is higher at one time and lower at other times even when her hand is the same height.

All I can guess is there are many light sources but somehow they do it so she has one shadow and yet the camera is a ghost or vampire.

The massive light source is up pretty high.
The camera man stays under it, and is expertly self aware.

I was 2 months and 3 days old.

I actually knew a few of these.
