Why did the chicken cross the road?

To get to the other road and turn left over it!

Technically you cross over every road you traverse if you are riding in your car as opposed to rubbing your cheek against it.

One example makes sense, maybe. More complex directions become more confusing with each addition.

How is crossing a road even remotely the same thing as following a road? That one example doesn't even begin to make sense.

I entirely agree. But that's how she talks. I've heard other people down South do it too, but only rarely.

Now that I think about it, I wonder what she makes of the Chicken X Road jokes.

I was always told that nobody can be true neutral. Someone is wrong.

None of them! I use a monitor arm. Only one monitor these days, partially because I can't afford a floor stand that will safely hold my three-ton laptop. It is a wished-for item, though.

True neutral. ive thought about going neutral good but cant afford two just alike monitors so thought about going chaotic good but never have with my old monitors.

If I truly had the resources, I think I'd be neutral good + lawful evil. I'd have a good, high-end gaming monitor front and center attached to my gaming PC, maybe even a curved (but not superwide), something with 4k/HDR/GSync/fast response. And I'd have a second PC with dual monitors, one to the right side (for looking things up, checking email, etc while gaming), and the second monitor above my gaming machine for passive reference material (maps, etc) that I want up all the time.

But I don't have those resources. So I once again find myself looking around for a very sturdy floor stand will support a 17", 10-pound laptop with clamps (I'm not taking a chance on dropping it.)

Lawful evil, but it's home machine over work laptop.

My personal rig is lawful evil. The one I still check for work and will eventually return is closest to chaotic evil or Neutral good. It is a laptop screen with a screen above it and a screen to the above right. When I do laptop external I always have the first second monitor to the right. If I can get a second, it goes above with left justification if possible. My TV is Lawful Neutral with a duplicated display (laptop to the right)for streaming purposes.

Neutral Good, unless you count the TV screen just to the left that throws it into chaotic territory.

Functionally chaotic good, with a 4:3 17" next to a widescreen 23". It works very well; their height is very similar. The big boy does the big tasks, and the other does secondary web browsing/Discord/Spotify etc. I actually have a third monitor (4:3) on my desk that functions as the monitor for my old system, but that rarely gets used outside of WFH. So my setup looks symmetrical, but one monitor never gets used. I ran with two widescreen monitors for a long time, but as they died on me it didn't seem practical to replace the second one when I picked up these never-die Dell 4:3s from Value Village for what must have been $15.

I actually just had my Asus 23" and Mrs. Nym's widescreen LG repaired for $60 each at a local shop. They had PSU issues and I'm very glad I didn't have to pay approx. $250 to replace them. My sweet Viewsonic from 2005 couldn't be fixed however. (It had been dead for a few years collecting dust.)

I've always always always been true neutral, home and at work. My wife has a multiple display at work, and says she's neutral good. I'm not sure how I'd take to such a setup. Either I'd love it and quickly fall into personal preferences and rue my long single monitor existence... OR... not be able to adjust to it and hate it. Don't really see me having the opportunity or inclination to undertake such an experiment though, so will remain a mystery for now.
