You can get hung up on what they were proposing 12 years ago or actually enjoy the excellent game that was released 6 years ago. For $3 you're getting (imho) a AAA game; it's so good.

I played the game back in Early Access when they had a demo or free access or something. I played quite a bit of it. Some of it was a lot of button mashing but there was quite a lot of fun stuff as well. And as you say, it is very original.

James Mason makes for a decent aristo German though, if only his wife hadn't had that towel constantly draped over her shoulders.
