Danger, Will Robinson!

Be aware that this one is still in contract limbo, with two parties claiming they own it, the publisher and the developer, who are now arch nemesises. Nemeses's. Whatevever. Anyway, there are two versions - the Steam version is the publisher's, the Origin/elsewhere version is the developer's. The Steam version apparently doesn't get all of the updates, nor does it get all of the DLC.

I'd actually like to play this one, and have had it on my wishlist for a while, so I went and caught up on the drama when I saw it was on sale.

This was in a bundle from before. I find it to be... eh... More of a satire than a game. There are some interesting mechanics there, but at its heart it's a cartoon brawler. It's something you play, chuckle at the jokes, then leave aside.

Halloween sale is now on, and some stuff is discounted. But remember to check other sources, as other places can have stiffer discounts.

For example, I am interested at MW5 Mercenaries, Jumpship Edition (i.e. gold pack, with both Heroes of Innersphere and Kestrel Lancers DLCs) which is $45 on Steam, but down to $36 at Fanatical. I doubt it'll drop in price much further in the next 6 months.
