It's like Pandemic, but with Firefighters and just one house.
This is one of the games that came out of kickstarter. It is, at a basic level a co-op game just like pandemic, but with a group of 1-6 firefighters and a single house.
It's a great game, really worth a look at if you like co-op games. It has several ways to play, including a family mode that's simple and fun, to a more complex mode that includes different roles and a difficulty setting.
The board is basically a house, laid out in a grid. There's walls and doors delineating spaces in that grid as rooms. The way the mechanics work is that fire can spread through rooms rather easily, but takes some effort to go through walls.
Every turn, players have a set number of actions including moving, extinguishing fires, and moving victims around. Then you're rolling for the random place that smoke markers are placed, and if that smoke touches fire, or you hit the smoke location again, a whole chain of smoke can catch fire. If you roll on a location that's already on fire, it explodes and blows out doors and damages walls.
To keep the fire under control, you have to both go after victims, and extinguish fires or at least remove chains of smoke and fire to prevent catastrophic chains.
