Top o' the mornin' to ya! What's everybody up to today? Watch out for the amateurs if you're out and about tonight!

Argh. Sorry for any confusion. I was using my wife's phone and forgot that it was logged in as her.

So yeah, corned beef & cabbage is blech.

For St. Pats, I'm going over to a friend of my wife's house and run a D&D game for them. I was trying to put together a St. Pats themed game, but ran out of time.

The drunks come out in the morning here. I live two blocks away from the parade route. Silly me, thinking I could sleep in today.

I had Lucky Charms for breakfast.

We had made plans earlier in the week to go out to dinner tonight with another couple for tlr's birthday (it was Thursday), not realizing what day it is. Now we're trying to think of someplace inexpensive to go that won't be a madhouse.
I spent 90% of the money I made on women, booze, and drugs. The other 10% I just pissed away.

Go with Italian. It worked wonders a few years ago on Cinco de Mayo.

Always hope of doing something fun, feeling very old and fat these days. Nope, nothing worthwhile except hanging with the family... I do like them and we always laugh together. My brothers house is sick so we won't have any cute kid stuff to amuse ourselves with :(
Might find the energy and time to make jelly shots, but not drinking means the scraps will be tossed out and there are too few in the family that drink, blah, blah, blah. Yep, women are moody. I'm pretty impressed with the swings for each sentance! End post

It's "Maple Syrup Weekend" in NY, so I'm heading to my local sugar shack to pick up my annual supply of pure maple syrup. After that, I think we're going to a park that has a stream running through it that my kids are especially fond of. It's supposed to hit 70 today, making it the warmest temperature ever for the Syracuse St Patrick's Day parade (blowing away the old record of 66!).

Hard for me to celebrate St Paddy's day knowing that I have no Irish blood in me. Instead, I found out that I was descended from a race of men who dressed in skirts and were sent to Ireland to oppress the Irish.

Friends are coming over for a gaming session tonight. Maybe I'll drink some Quinn's Irish Amber, the spring seasonal from Wachusett. It's already too warm out for Murphy's.

I don't think I'm Irish. I choose not to be, anyway.

I hit the road around 9am and the worst of the plastic paddies were already out in full force.

My local will have been taken over since 10am at least so I'm probably staying in until/if we go to a dinner party.

Smoove!

My brother helped to take care of his 4 sick kids today. I'm guessing he stopped mid stride to put his Guiness down on his way to get the mail. He posted the pic "can on driveway" on Facebook, representing his daddyhood responsibilities making it a St. Patty's day, party of one celebration.
