Free Steam and Desura keys from indie bundles

Post by JetFred »

Forgive me for not posting this in the trade forum. I get the impression few people go there, and I don't want anything in exchange. So claim a freebie. All of these are legit individual keys (from Groupees, one of the indie bundlers) that I will email or PM you, not Steam gifts. Note which are Steam versus the one that is Desura, and drop me a note.

STEAM:
(claimed) King's Bounty: The Legend - great cartoony successor to the old-school Heroes
(claimed) X-Blades - kind of crap arcade beat-em-up, but you might get your money's worth SINCE IT'S FREE. Warning, cel-shaded butt cheeks.
(claimed) Tropico 3 - Basically an early version of Tropico 4, but this one retains the more entertaining radio personalities

Desura only (it's on Steam Greenlight):
(claimed) NEO Scavenger - odd little kind of rogue-like RPG/strategy post-apocalyptic game

Sadly, the trade forum has all but died since the days when you and I earned our 100+ ratings. Steam and its ilk are largely to blame, I'm afraid. So few games these days are tradeable, and people tend to fill their backlog and 'wish I'd played' lists with $1.99 Steam sale titles.

I'd love to try Tropico 3. I haven't played any of the Tropicos, and they've always caught my eye.

Very kind of you.

Some claim to be things they aren't.
Some claim things they don't deserve.
Some claim to know more than they ever will.
I don't claim anything, because no one would believe the truth anyways.

Can I please get x-blades? Looks like a decent action game to kill some time.

Thanks and do you want portal?

If JetFred passes I have an extra copy of Portal (the first) to anyone who wants it.

Anyone still interested can go to groupees.com and buy the Be Mine 5 bundle. The current charity is Mercy Corps. You can also get Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath and Kung Fu Strike, and an assortment of other stuff. It's up for 5 more days.

I do feel like I should plug the bundle when I do this since it's partially for charity and it's so cheap.

Offering up the following for Steam:

(claimed) Elven Legacy - this is basically 3D Warlock without cities, because Warlock is built on Fantasy Wars
(claimed) Hearts of Iron 2 - World War II/III Europa Universalis
(claimed) Majesty 2 - really only great if you are nostalgic for the first one
(claimed) Lead and Gold - multiplayer cowboys

I'll take Elven Legacy (if I don't already own it... Still in bed so I'll have to double check my Steam account when I get up). My Steam id is icebear13

Edit: Yeah, don't own it so I'll take it if you don't mind

Looks like I just missed asking for a key for Majesty 2 and missed out completely on discovering Europa Universalis. This is actually probably a good thing.

I do want to say you guys are awesome for sharing the wealth. I need to come into games to give away in the spirit of OO generosity.

Honestly, I have such a hang-up, it bugs the crap out of me to have Lead & Gold and AirMech beta to give away and I don't even do multiplayer. Will someone please take them and help out a guy with major obsessive problems? :?

Okay, apparently I have more, so that's one claimed. I sure hope this gives you the ability to play, not just spectate, because that would be lame. I was eventually given the ability to play.

[edit] Crux says it lets him play.

Gave away the AirMech and what is becoming a daily stream of Dota 2 gifts.
