The rest of the bonus/optional survivors arrived today, with new front/back character sheets that include the Zombivor versions of all of the bonus/optional survivors.

I'm going to need a bigger box.

I missed seasons 1 and 2 and just found out that I could've contacted the company to get in late, but fuck I missed that by a few days too :(

You can still pick up the game now, still worth it IMO. Lots less freebies but if you get both seasons and the mall expansion (when they come out), you would have plenty of heroes. Plus they are releasing more hero packs after the fact. I missed the first kickstarter though so I know how you feel. I'm sure there will be another one next year they make bank off these things.

Update #44 · Jun 23, 2013 · 64 comments We're a little ahead of schedule on Season 2, so we will likely be shipping through August instead of September as originally planned.
Next month? That would be very cool.

With the Season 2 goodies, you don't really need the Season 1 promos.

You should end up with a fully playable game. Raise the Dead would have given you a LOT more options, but I don't think it is necessary to spend that much. I have way more heroes than I know what to do with already when season 2 and TCM show up, I am going to be thoroughly overwhelmed.

The reason I didn't get Raise the Dead is because I will pay less for Toxic City Mall and Zombicide Season 1 at Coolstuffinc when they are released.

...and 11lbs worth of Zombicide S2 materials were just dropped off at my house. More specifically, Toxic City Mall and Prison Outbreak. For some reason I thought part of the bonus stuff would be included in this shipment, but I guess with all the updates/delays/clarifications I was confused.

And just like that, now I have 133 minis to paint...

Looks like some more survivors are coming out through cmons wrath of kings kickstarter right now. The update says you have to spend 50 on the campaign to get them but after some feedback cmon has decided zombicide season 1 or 2 backers can add them without getting anything else if they add 10 handing on top (so basically 31 bucks for two survivors and zombivors). Probably a bit rich for my blood especially since there are so many survivors now but still interesting.

I was an early bird backer, backed in the first minute the campaign was open and I've heard nothing so I don't think order had anything to do with it, sadly.

I finally got a tracking number...yesterday. The email said that the package was "initiated" and that the "shipment information was sent to fedex" on October 4 at 6:55 pm. Nothing else is showing up, and in fact, doesn't even show that Fedex has picked the package up even, much less an estimated delivery date. But, hey, at least I have a tracking number now!!

My entire motivation to play this game went right out the window. No idea why....thought it might be related to the whole "Zombivor" addition to the game. Regardless, now I have all the S2 characters, the two new games and the various dog expansions. Ebay here I come...

So, those of you that have more than one Abomination zombie...do you add a 2nd (or 3rd, or 4th, ect) Abomination if one is on the spawn card?

I have several Abominations (3 or so standard Abominations, 2 or 3 Toxic Abominations, 2 or 3 Berserker Abominations)...so if a standard abomination comes up to be spawned, but I have already placed on on the board a few turns earlier...does another standard abomination spawn?

How do you guys handle that?

It rally depends on how hard of a game you want. I usually spawn as many abominations as I can especially with the new weapons that kill abominations. But per the rules you can always play that you only have one abomination on the board at a time. It really depends on what sort of difficulty you want. I like using all of my abominations :)

I think I have a lot of work painting. I finished the main paint job for 1/2 of the zombies in Season 1. Now I have so many to paint, I just tossed them into the Toxic City Mall box.

There are now so many Abominations, I think you almost have to spawn multiples.

Received the rest of my shipment. But the idiots did leave off the numbers from the Set #3 and #4 Survivors and Ross, Will, Fred and Helen. Nothing a little Sharpie pen won't fix, but the wailing and gnashing is immense on BGG.

This seems to be a thing lately. The Alien Frontiers updated 2-sided game board also has a misprint. And that's annoying because I sprung for the new board.

Oh, and I haven't restarted my efforts at painting. But I do have plans to update my home desk space at the end of April, which will include some room for paint projects.
