It's not AI, it's wry comedy.

Prior to starting his own social media brand, Trump was a mediocre real-estate and business investor who managed to attain peak-influencer status. He has attracted massive followings across mainstay platforms like Twitter and Facebook with his unique blend of @dril-style unhinged comedy and via fueling real-world political acts of violence.

That's what made me think it was AI. :)

Edit: If I had made it to the paragraph Lawbeefaroni posted I would have got it I suppose but it didn't hold my attention that long.

AI can definitely write wry comedy. Either way, I was amused.

It's also $20 plus ~$12-$15 shipping for a 6-pack of 4% ABV beer. You gotta give these guys credit, they've taken the art of the grift to a whole new level.

Grifting money from the sort of people who find that pitch appealing seems almost like a public service.

Also, that dude plays T-ball, like a baby. A real man would have someone try to bean him with a can of Bud Light, but he'd grab it out of the air (without breaking eye contact with the camera), then toss it up and knock it out of the park.

That scene was awesome, until the end when Wahlberg unsuccessfully tries to act. If someone where to play a bad actor in a movie they would just have to do a really good Mark Wahlberg impression.

And the media is braying how anheuser busch stock is down 5%! But instead of 5% it's the market cap value, just to make the number bigger.

Honestly, fuck this timeline. Maybe we've had it too good and too easy for too long? Context: I'm a white middle aged male living in North America.

edit: I don't actually remember what the stock was down. Picked 5% randomly.

My understanding of the contract brewing industry (and it's an admittedly limited understanding) is that there are a ton of contract brewers out there who will follow your recipe and bottle/can things for you. A lot of your smaller breweries will use contract brewers until they get a big enough presence that they can establish a true production facility (as opposed to something at a brewpub), and you'll never know the name of the contract brewer that is making your favorite local micro.

That's not to defend this idiot by any means. If I'm paying $20 for a six pack, it's going to be something limited and high ABV. Even 3 Floyds doesn't price their sixers that high.

I think the cans/bottles usually have something about them where they're brewed and packaged.

There are one or two there that I haven't tried, other than that... not really. I may see what some of those brands offer (I prefer dark with a strong flavor, and the further I get from an IPA the happier I am.)

Also didn't realize that Stella Artois is one of their brands. I occasionally drink that too.

That was my thought as well. I'd honestly like to support Budweiser, but I'd have to find something Budweiser that I'd actually want.

I'm no beer snob (I've never been able to afford it), and I'm not a heavy beer drinker (I will buy a 12-pack every two or three months.) If I get something that I don't like, I'm stuck with it for quite a while. I like ales, stouts, dunkel, and so on (plus some wheat beers.) But I usually only experiment when I can get a pick-and-choose six pack that lets me grab one of six different things (there is a place that has these that I visit occasionally, but it's relatively expensive.)

The “craft partners” didn’t want to admit they were owned by Anheuser-Busch. 10 Barrel in Portland is a perfect example.
