Meet the Good Guys:


Emperor Palpatine: The Emperor did not get to where he is by being stupid. One time each night he can scan a player and discern their true identity. If he scans Mara Jade before Luke Skywalker, then Mara will permanently be an Imperial. If the Emperor scans Mara after Mara has been scanned by Luke, he will be told that he found Mara and she is a traitorous Rebel.


Darth Vader: Vader has the one time ability to use the force to choke someone to death. The choke will reveal Vader's identity. Vader has a special bond with Luke and once each night he can scan for Luke. The result of the scan will be reported either he found Luke or not.


Boba Fett: Boba may protect one player from a lynch one time in the game. This protection has a 30% chance of revealing his identity. If he is protecting himself, there is a 100% chance of revealing his identity. If the protection is successful, day will immediately turn to night. Boba's PM to the mod on the protection must occur before the final vote. Once the final vote is cast, the lynch will occur. Boba can also protect one player at night, but cannot protect the same player on consecutive nights.


Nute Gunray: He can avoid a lynch once per game. He can also avoid a night kill once per game. If the subject of his first lynch, the day will immediately turn to night. If night, the rest of the night actions happen as normal, and the Rebels will be told the failure was due to their target hiding.


Emperor’s Royal Guard: You guys all look really cool. Just don’t kill the Emperor. That would be tacky and it will be really difficult to acquire future employment with that on your resume. “Yeah, we did a great job protecting the old guy right up until we all got together, took out our blasters, and blasted the crap out of the geezer.” Not cool. However, not to fret too much, you will still win if the Emperor is dead as long as you eliminate the rebel menace. If you can’t even manage to do that, then don’t worry about future employment. Everyone else is just collateral damage, therefore, who cares.

Meet the Bad Guys:


Han Solo: Han can block a protection once per game from any player that has the protection ability. To initiate the block, he just PM’s the Mod the name of the person he wants to block and the block is automatic. The block is effective if made on the person initiating the protection or receiving the protection. This block can happen day or night.


Leia Organa: Leia has a stun bot the size of a syringe hidden somewhere on her body. Use your imagination. During the day, one time this game, she can program the bot to fly in and stun one person without revealing her identity. That person will be silenced for the day and the following night, but will wake up the following day cycle. If part of the “Wolf” contingent, she cannot use this ability on any of the Rebel forces.


Admiral Ackbar: If the Admiral is about to be lynched and he is part of the village contingent, before the lynch can take place the moderator will declare Admiral Ackbar’s identity and he cannot be lynched that day. Admiral Ackbar also has a secret agenda that will be PM’d to him at the beginning of the game.


R2D2: Can adjust the vote counting computers by adding 3 lynch votes to one player one time during the game. This vote, once cast cannot be changed. There has to be at least 7 players left in the game for R2 to use his votes. Players will not be notified the extra votes have been placed. This use will not reveal R2D2’s identity.

Empire
Emperor Palpatine: Scanner true identity. Scans Mara, turns her to the dark side.
Darth Vader: Choke ability. Can scan for Luke.
Boba Fett: One time protector of a lynch. May be exposed.
Nute Gunray: Avoid lynch once. Avoid night kill once.

Rebels
Leia Organa: Stun for one day and night.
Han Solo: Block protection.
R2D2: 3 overvote once.
Admiral Ackbar: Public declares before lynch. Secret agenda.


Turn Order:

Day: All day actions happen first come first served
Boba Fett: Who will you protect from the lynch?
Admiral Ackbar: Will you have to public declare?
Leia Organa: Who will you stun?
Vader: Who will you choke to death?
R2D2: Who will receive your 3 secret votes for a lynch?
Han Solo: Will you initiate a block? If so on who?


Night: Events happen in turn order
Boba Fett: Who will you protect from the night kill?
Han Solo: Will you initiate a block? If so on who?
Rebels: Who will you kill?
Emperor: Who will you scan to discern their identity?


Anytime:
Admiral Ackbar: Did you meet your secret agenda? If so PM the Mod.


Time Limits:

Day 1 – Will last 2 weeks unless ended sooner by the players. The deadline will be Monday May 18th at 9PM Eastern.
Day 2 - Will last a maximum of 9 days. If the end of the day falls on a Saturday or Sunday, then the deadline will extend to the following Monday
Day 3 Forward - Number of players = number of days not to exceed 7. If the end of the day falls on a Saturday or Sunday, then the deadline will extend to the following Monday

“Hmmm, Vader and Palpatine in the same place at the same time. I don’t think we can afford to pass up this opportunity to eliminate the top leadership of the Empire,” mused Mon Mothma out loud. Looking around the table at the trusting and expectant faces she quickly made up her mind. “General Solo, your mission is a go. You will infiltrate the enemy base, Kill Vader, Palpatine, and every other high level official you find. You will have to get in, complete your mission, and get out quickly. The base is heavily fortified and you will have very little time once you are discovered. We have captured an Imperial shuttle that was on its way to the base, so it is expected. Unfortunately, it is very small. You will only be able to take a few people with you. “

“You aren’t leaving me behind!” Leia demanded as she punched Han in the arm.

“What? I didn’t even say anything yet?” Han reached up to rub his shoulder.

“I know you, you are going to take that hairy Wookiee and leave me behind like you always do. That is not going to happen this time. Where you go, I go, buster.”

Han looked at Leia, “Of course you can come, your highness. Besides, I am going to need back-up I can depend on, Chewie left for Kashyyyk this morning to take care of some personal business. I would have gone with him, but Ackbar brought me this information and it is too good a chance to pass up.”

Ackbar rolled his fish eyes at Han and Leia. “You do realize this could be a trap.”

Han turned on Ackbar, “You and your traps. With you it is always a trap. Every single mission you go on, it’s a trap, it’s a trap, do you say anything else? Seriously Ackbar, I think you need to sit this one out.”

Mon Mothma let out an exasperated sigh, “Can we please get back to the task at hand. General, you need the Admiral. He is the only one that has first hand knowledge of the lay out of the base since it was originally built and manned by the Mon Calamari during the clone wars.” Mon Mothma turned and started pacing. “We do have one thing that will give you a tactical advantage though. Our scientists have developed a gas that renders the facial and body recognition portion of the brain non-functional for several days. It also will make those affected docile allowing you to move around the facility with little hindrance. You will need to take an astromech droid to disperse the gas through their air recycling system.“ She looked at the Med bot and gave it a nod. The bot pulled out a hypospray unit from a compartment in its thigh and approached Ackbar. “You all will be getting the antidote before your mission so you will not be affected. Unfortunately, we cannot delay any longer. We have a very limited window in which to strike. Thank you all for your service.”

Han and Leia gave each other a look. They both have been around Mon Mothma long enough to know after briefing members on a mission when she says “thank you for your service,” rarely does everyone come back. They watched Mon Mothma go out a side door of the briefing room. The bot very quickly hyposprayed the team.

While rocking back and forth in his chair Ackbar defensively declared, “You know, this could still be a trap.”

“Yeah, well why don’t you shut yours.” Han shot back as he pushed himself away from the table and stalked out of the room. “Now where is that damn droid.”

Rebels At the Base

Han, Leia and Ackbar used the shuttle and the stolen access codes to infiltrate the base. They hid in a special compartment specially installed at the base of the shuttle and waited while R2D2 and the pilot droid left the shuttle. It was their mission to disperse the gas.

When the shuttle approached the base, Han was worried the Imperials would find it suspicious that the shuttle was over 20 hours late. He and the rest of the team were surprised that the Imperials didn’t even ask any questions. They had a cover story for the pilot droid ready about a malfunction and having to stop over for repairs, but it seemed in the excitement of the Emperor’s visit, protocols were forgotten. Ackbar was convinced it was trap and Han restrained himself from ripping Ackbar’s eyeballs out of their sockets. He couldn’t wait to get the signal that the droids had completed their mission so they could get on with theirs.

What seemed like an eternity, but was really only a little while, Han got the signal from R2. The gas was being released. The team quickly jumped out of the compartment and Ackbar lead them to the main meeting hall.

Imperials at the Base

“Emperor, the subjugation of the Mon Calamari people goes well. We have been shipping them off to resource rich worlds covered in water for underwater mining projects. We have tripled the output of many of the mines and it is only a matter of time before we duplicate these results all over the Empire,” Nute Gunray gushed.

“Excellent. We need those resources to fund our Fleet. Losing two Deathstars was a serious blow to the Empire. You have done well,” the Emperor nodded at Nute.

Vader stalked into the room and Nute quickly scurried to get out of his way. “Master, we have captured a pilot droid trying to infiltrate our air recycling system. We are taking it apart now and downloading its memory to find out what it was doing there. It is time to leave.”

Just then a white gas started to come out of the vents and quickly filled up the room. Boba Fett who was standing in the corner with several of the Royal Guards quickly turned to the access panel on the wall. He clicked a button on his arm guard and a tiny interface unit extended into the access panel’s receptor. He hurriedly punched a few buttons on his arm unit and the interface whirled in response. Within moments of connecting with the wall unit, the vents were closed and the main doors were starting to shut as four individuals ran unnoticed into the room under the cover of the thick smoke. The doors closed right behind them. Boba felt weak as he punched a few more buttons and the smoke was sucked back out of the room as the room’s air purifiers kicked into high gear. He finished fixing the air when he felt his eyes growing heavy and his legs buckled. Some sort of knockout gas he thought groggily as his vision blurred and he slumped to the floor.

An undetermined time later, people started to wake up. Han looked up at the ceiling while lying on his back and rubbed his eyes. Through the fog that seemed to cloud his brain he started to recall where he was and his mission. At that he quickly jumped up and looked around. The mission, the mission, the mission, kept going through his mind. The mission, then his mind came to crashing halt. Leia! Where is Leia, where is Liea, overriding “the mission” mantra. He desperately looked around the room for his wife and found her lying in a heap near his feet. Next to her was Ackbar and R2, but he didn’t recognize any of the other figures waking from their slumber. It slowly dawned on Han, the antidote didn’t protect them from the gas. Sure it was less effective because he could still recognize his team, but everyone else around him was a complete mystery. He watched as someone staggered to the middle of the room and screamed “Traitors! There are traitors among us! We must find and kill them! Kill them before they kill us!” Uh oh, he thought. I have a bad feeling about this.

In before roles: Does the person who announced there are traitors get the Whistleblower punishment or the: "He who smelt it dealt it" punishment?

Also, Leia's ability - can that person still be lynched even if they can't talk?

Also[sup]2[/sup], Nute's powers work independent of each other, correct? Does this mean that the following scenario could exist:

1) We lynch Nute
2) Dude is not to be found
3) Han blocks protection on nute
4) Nute is killed during the night (though if 3 didn't happen, it would have been two misses).

Absolutely

Yes, if by two misses you mean one miss during the day lynch and one during the night kill. And Han cannot block either. Han only blocks protection, Nute's ability isn't a protection ability. Although I might change that for future games...
