If I get a gamestop giftcard can I use that to buy a steam giftcard from gamestop?

I'm about to redeem a reward for using mypoints.com that gives me $50 gift card. Since steam sales are coming I figured that would be a good time to use it.

Pretty sure I've gotten Steam gift cards at Gamestop before, but you'll probably want to call a store to verify.

I have bought a steam gift card with a best buy gift card. I don't see any reason it wouldn't work the same way with Gamestop unless there are exclusions listed when you buy it, it should be same as cash.

I would call and ask. One would think it would be fine though. But we are talking Gamestop

I've used Best Buy gift Cards to buy Steam Gift Cards.

I really need to keep an eye out for steam gift cards at places that reward you for buying stuff.

technically I believe you are not supposed to be able to, but I've done it. The gift cards say can't be used for gift cards and steam cards count as do xbox cards.
