Interesting. Not quite who I expected, but he'll do. That would make him and Cavill the two actors with the highest-profile on the show.

After all this time, it wasn't until I was listening to a cover of Toss a Coin to Your Witcher that I noticed there is an elf-on-the-shelf reference in the lyrics.

Finally got around to finishing the last three episodes tonight. Overall, a big of’ sack of ‘meh’. Some cool moments, but I didn’t really enjoy it that much.

That said, Cavill was fantastic, and I’ll tune into a season 2 just to see more of him as Geralt. I had my doubts In that casting choice, but he absolutely nailed it.

From watching him playing Konstantin, he's a good choice for Vesemir!

The Witcher showrunner says future seasons will reference the games "as often as possible"
“We love the games," Hissrich told TV Guide of the video game’s influence on the creative team behind the Netflix series. "Obviously what we wanted to do is go back to the source material, not to do an adaptation of an adaptation. But it doesn't mean that we're not fans of the games ourselves, that we don't play them ourselves, and that we know that a huge part of our audience has only heard of The Witcher because of the video games.”

Reminds me of the first time I set up dual monitors. The left/right was reversed. I dicked around with the windows settings for about 30 seconds before picking up the monitor on the right and moving it to the left side.

Why didn't you just swap the cables? Is it because they're Display Port and it'll still backward if you swap the cables?

That moment when you just stare and realize that it is upside down, overcome the temptation to just flip the tower over, then sigh and reach for the screwdriver.

Can't tell for sure since I don't know which model AIO he's using but I'm pretty sure you can just flip the display on the water pump via software.

Edit: Looks like an NZXT brand AIO so I am about 95% certain that he could have flipped the display via the utility.

Not only are we getting an animated version, but Netflix just announced another live-action project:
The fantasy realm of The Witcher is about to get even bigger. Today, Netflix announced a six-part live-action spinoff of its massively popular series, one that delves into a very different time period.

Called The Witcher: Blood Origin, the series will take place “1200 years before Geralt of Rivia” and explore a period when “the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged into one, and the first Witcher came to be.” It’s being helmed by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, showrunner on the main Witcher series, and screenwriter Declan de Barra.

I didn't realize they started pre-production on S2

via Gizmodo:
This first picture, from Surjik, is probably the starkest—as it shows what the directors’ viewing tent will look like during filming. They’re wearing masks, sitting six feet apart, and separated by a large plastic barrier. That’s a lot of steps, although each of them are necessary.

S2 Production underway again:
Surjik says in his post: “Everyone is being cautious but spirits are high.” Several actors join the cast including “Game of Thrones” star Kristofer Hivju who previously tested positive for the COVID-19 virus but has been symptom free for months.

The first season remains of Netflix’s biggest success stories ratings wise.
If they get shut down again, I can imagine Henry Cavill uttering the signature f-bomb...

CD Projekt Red's WitcherCon stream included some segments devoted to the Netflix series:

The Witcher Season 2: Deck of Destiny: 10:06am PT/6:06pm BST
Destinies collide when the cast and showrunner of Netflix's The Witcher draw cards from an enigmatic deck of fan questions that will determine the path of the panel and the immediate fate of the guests. But these are no ordinary cards - prepare for surprise reveals, backstage insights, and a dash of chaos as our panelists take us through their journey of filming Season 2.

...

Geralt of T-Rivia 11:22am PT/7:22pm BST
It’s a meeting of the Witcher masterminds as key creators of the Witcher games and The Witcher Netflix series team up to test their knowledge of the wider Witcher universe. In this pub quiz-style game, behind-the-scenes tidbits and spoilery sneak peeks are prized just as much as the correct answers.

Tales from the White Wolf: A Conversation With Henry Cavill: 12:08pm PST/8:08pm BST
To close out WitcherCon, fans will hear from Geralt of Rivia himself, Henry Cavill, who will sit down with moderator Josh Horowitz (MTV & Comedy Central host) for an in-depth conversation about fantasy, destiny, and the wider Witcher Universe. The White Wolf may even have a surprise or two in store…

They've also announced another prequel movie, this time about the Blood Elves. And also, I feel like this is April 1st, because they've also said they're doing a kids series. How the heck can you do a kids series based on a series that is so overtly adult? Next they'll tell us they're also doing a Game of Thrones kids series.

I’m sure they can figure it out.
