I had the same thoughts but didn't want to give the wolves and ideas.
My first inclination is move my vote to Chaos but I wanted to give this a bit of room to breath first.

Wow, I get to my room at Disney and find out we might have gotten one of our specials. <sigh>

I guess I will go for one of the Detroit crew that everyone else is pushing for, and who has been more quiet than usual.

Of course now that the wolves know that we know, they may kill Scoop to keep us off the trail. But now that they know that we know that they know, they may keep Scoop..

Need a vote count. I think that puts CR at 7? N-2? Let's give CR a chance to respond.

CR got anything you would like to share with the group?

If he's T-Dog, the Wolves can only hold off killing him if they're willing to risk letting him risk do his job.

We probably shouldn't lynch him immediately, but we shouldn't listen to him like he's proven.

If I am correct, there is no power where someone needs to be on a kill, so CR should be safe for now if he wants to speak out.. Also no need to kill vote him either yet unless someone is trying to do a speed run of the game.

MOD NOTE – Write up is long, Alignment reveal is at the end OF 2ND POST BOLD.

“This way!” Archinerd shouted, fingers pointing toward the double doors Unagi & Izzy were guarding. “Got no choice, have to get down there.”

Without waiting for any sort of agreement, he kicked the doors open and burst into the hallway of walkers. With a roar and swing of his bat he connected “SPLAT”, the brain matter flew and sprayed the walkers around.

Holman saw what Archinerd was up to and quickly followed; flying into the hallway he slammed a crowbar on to a walkers shoulder, “Damn.” He muttered. The Walker reached out for his shirt. Holman sucked his gut back as he danced a step back. All the while, re-cocking his arm and letting loose and this time connecting into the walkers neck. The crowbar slashed through loosely hanging flesh. Bones cracked, head tilted, gravity pulled and it snapped off to thud on to the floor.

“We don’t even know what’s down there?” Vorret paused, as he saw the other survivors dash forward to clear a path.

“There’s a conference room down there, around the corner.” Bb2112 replied hustling forward to engage.

“How the hell did you see that?” Vorret replied, picking up his step, spiked bat in hand.

“Spotted it from the corner safety mirror down the hallway; you can barely make it out, but it’s there.” BB2112 said between swings.

Vorret looked at the safety mirror and sure enough he could just barely make out wide open hallways further down the line. “No walkers around the corner.”

“If we can get through these walkers, can hole up into that conference room; set up some kind of quick barrier.” Remus said.

A plan hatched, a destination. Some sense of safety no matter how tenuous was possible.

“Gonna help the back.” Lassr said as he turned and lumbered to the mass of zombies shuffling down the dimly light halls.

EL Guapo and Stessier were slamming doors, shoving chairs, furniture anything not bolted down to give the guys up front some space and time. Slowly retreating doing their best to keep overwhelming odds from breaking free. Lassr shoved himself next to them just in time to crush a Walkers skull.

Chaosraven, glanced back and saw that the rearguard were ceding ground quickly. He strode forward, axe ready when something to the right caught his eye: 3 IV rolling stands. An idea zipped through mind. “Yeah. Righteous.” He said to no one as he grabbed the first one. Just then a walker came into view arms raised. Chaosraven swung the stand over on its rollers, momentum and force lifting it mid swing launching it so that it rammed into the walker’s chest.

CRACK! The momentum carried, Chaosraven dug in his lanky, long legs and pushed for all he could.

CRACK! The makeshift lance had punched through the first Walker and had ripped into a second walker. Redoubling his effort, neck muscles bulging; he summoned the force and strength to push forward.

CRACK! The sound snapped through the hallways as the third zombie was shish-kabab’ed.

The momentum had done enough as a crease opened up, an advantage created. Punisher slipped through the opening to flank a walker quickly cutting it down. Moliere followed as a swing and a hit crushed another walker’s head.

Minutes later, the living had claimed the conference hallway from the dead. The survivors gasping for breath.

“He was right. Look!” Unagi gestured as he leaned over, hands on his knees. Desperate to catch his breath. “Look!” True enough a large conference room was feet away. Large glass windows circled the conference room, and provided a clear view to the outside world’s gritty gray overcast clouds. Even better were the many white cubicles filled with furniture: Plenty to fashion a barricade.

Isgrinmur saw the possibilities. “Let’s get some barricades going guys.” Not a moment to lose; everyone swung into motion. Several went to help the rearguard while the others dodged in and out of rooms; dragging objects out for the barricade.

They were just in time, because as valiantly as the rearguard was fighting, they were losing and losing badly. The herd was close to overwhelming them.

“Get your asses back here. Hallway’s clear.” Chaosraven yelled to them.

The three of them took quick steps back, pivoted and started sprinting. As they cleared the double doors Remus West and Scoop slammed them shut.

Chaosraven slammed one IV stand and then the other one between the door handles. Meanwhile the rest quickly dragged all the furniture to block the doors. A solid barricade swiftly appearing. Safety achieved, for now.

END SEQUENCE

The group sighed a breath of relief. They could hear the pounding of the Walkers against the barricade.

“Hey Chaosraven!” RMC said as he grabbed him by the collar and slammed him into a wall; RMC’s forearm tight against Chaosraven’s throat. RMC’s gun quickly in his face. “Show everyone your arm!”

“Umph” Chaosraven grunted, shocked to have been slammed, shocked to see the gun in his face and even more shocked to see bite marks running up his arms.

Chaosraven raised his arm, “Ah fuck!” He shouted, as his eyes locked into the 12 jagged teeth marks embedded in his skin. Blood was slowly seeping from the wound; the dark purple wounds already festering with mini microbes. Chaosraven was gonna die; as the realization set in a primal scream burst out, followed by a loud and thunderous “Fuck!”

“It’s the end of the world as we know it….but I feel fine ,” Zarathud sang.

“How long you been bit Chaos?” RMC asked.

“I, I….” he stammered.

Without a word Merle strolled up, whipping his arm from behind his back. His hand was gripping a Colt Police Positive and as he jabbed it up to Chaosraven’s temple he fired. Chaosraven’s eyes went blank as his body collapsed to the floor.

Stunned, all eyes turned to Merle.

“You should be saying thanks. I just did everyone a favor. He was gonna turn.” Merle replied; icily staring back at the group.

“Didn’t have to do that.” Rick had drawn his Colt Python; aimed squarely at Merle’s chest.

“I did and you can thank me by putting that thing away. He was gonna git us” Merle snarled back.

Everyone looked at Chaosraven’s body; shocked at the loss after such a valiant display. There could only be one conclusion. CHAOSRAVEN HAD BEEN A SURVIVOR!

A rock slammed into the conference room window; spider cracks started to spread. No one paid heed, all eyes centered on the showdown.

Glenn diplomatically intervened. “Can’t fight each other here. We need need to get out of here. C’mon Rick! Merle?” Eyes questioning the two, pleading.

Glowering Rick kept his piece up and eyes on Merle. Merle puffed his chest and strutted forward. The standoff escalating as time seemed to stand still……..
