Beware the power of the Nader campaign!

Now supported by... dozens and dozens of people.

Okay, a dozen people.

Fine... six.

...

Three?

Me: Wait 12 years, when he runs for president. :-)

Biased photo. It's clearly not showing the dozens of people on the left side of the room.

Somebody please explain to me why Nader is still in this election. What's his angle? He is not party-building. He has no effect on the agenda. He is apparently not trying to play kingmaker. He is not a drooling loonie. I dont think he's the tool of anybody.

I don't get it.

This is nothing new for him. He's long been an anti-Democratic spoiler, going back to the 1980s. He prefers doctrinal compliance to reasonable political compromise and punishes the Democrats for not being the same.

I've always wondered why Nader doesn't move somewhere where he might have a reasonable chance of being elected to the House. He would then have at least a chance to shape policy, as well as a permanent bully pulpit (instead of the once-in-four-years one he has now).
Much prefer my Nazis Nuremberged.

With Nader off the ballots in OH and PA, polling less than 1%, and without two pennies to rub together, I think Michael Badnarik is going to be more of an independent factor in the election than Ralphie.

From what I understand, the Greens here in liberal hippie-dip Seattle were reeling by Nader's defection... but I think they're doing decent. Again, liberal hippie-dip Seattle. I work in the University District around University of Washington, and I have actually seen more Lyndon LaRouche people than Nader.
