All the fun just not all the over the top silly stuff. So maybe Ill like this. I anted to like the series. The story and such seem cool.
I was fairly "meh" on 4, but 3 was brilliant. Where else do you get Burt Reynolds as the mayor and zombies! I keep thinking about a replay just for those parts. :D

I was the same way. How many games let you play as a toilet?

It was the wackiness and absurdity that set it apart.

Having Roddy Piper show up to deliver a back alley beat down to Keith David will forever remain one of my Top 5 memories in PC gaming. I'll forever love the series for that alone.

The name made it look like Vampire Survivors. Then I watched the first attached video and it's a pretty bad looking clone. For $3 get the real thing. I just checked the Steam page and there are now 4 DLC. It's about $9 for me to upgrade. That's a bit steep for me but maybe I need to go find the thread and see what other people thought. I easily got $5 out of it, right when it came out on Steam.

Supposed to be a great game..and I love GotG. Guess it was the big ending to their holiday giveaways as its showing the next game and its a cheap one again.

Just be aware that it's based on the original comics - not the films. Expect differences.

I'm pretty sure Daehawk has only seen youtube clips. :P I have only watched the movies and nothing in the game really threw me off, but I am also pretty easy going.

YellowKing wrote: Sun Dec 31, 2023 11:01 am It's not nearly as good as the original Saint Rows, and completely resets the over-the-top wackiness of the later sequels. But I will say once I wrapped my brain around the changes I still enjoyed it enough to finish it. Just be aware it's its own thing. For free? Yeah, no brainer. I paid $30 and was still satisfied.
Finished the main quest yesterday after about 11 hours of gameplay. The save game said I only completed 28% of the game. I enjoyed this prequel and origin story for The Saints.

Wow, the Love preview doesn't even look 8 bit. It looks like someone took the original Jumpman and tried to port a playable version to the Atari 2600, Odyssey 2, or Intellivision is you're generous.

Wow, a bitterly difficult platformer with Atari 2600 graphics.

The appeal is low. No, they'd have to include blackjack and hookers to get the appeal up to low.
