How to send a PM

Apparently I've forgotten how to send a PM. I can write the letter but I can't send it to who I want.

I need a PM for Dummies guide.
- Click on the username of the individual you want to PM, e.g. dbt1949
- This will display their profile; now click on the PM: "Send private message" link within their profile.
- Type your subject and compose your message then hit the Submit button and your message will be sent.
